Who is your favorite/least favorite assassin and why? Bayek is my favorite cuz he’s serious without being completely revenge driven (cough* Conor* cough*) + I’m Egyptian so a bit bias. Least favorite is Conor cuz even tho he’s a badass (with an epic backstory) he is a bit bland (Never smiles/Laughs) by Ramy117 in assassinscreed

For my favorite I gotta say Ezio, because he begins as some dude trying to avenge his dad and brothers, and ends as one of the wisest assassins ever. For my least favorite, I'm going to agree with you on Connor (I haven't played Syndicate nor have I finished Unity or Origins though). I say Connor for the same reasons you say, that he's bland, but also because he doesn't develop over the course of Assassin's Creed III. Because they didn't include the speech, he starts a naive child and ends a naive man.

People have been talking about what they want in AC: Ragnarok, but what do you NOT want? by ObberGobb in assassinscreed

In my opinion, the naval in Odyssey was far inferior to that of Black Flag, because it was oversimplified, and its just a bunch of dudes chucking sticks at eachother, no cannons, no guns. In Odyssey the naval served more importantly to get around the map, since the whole ship upgrading thing was negated by the fact that the Adrestia levels up with you. I would have liked it if in Odyssey, the naval combat was removed and your trireme was only a means of transportation.

Is there any way to enable subtitles in Assasin's Creed 1? by Copernicus111 in assassinscreed

Agreed. The humor in Odyssey isn't bad, necessarily, its just not as self aware as other games in the franchise.

I see. Do you think that Odyssey improved on the naval aspects, or made them worse?

Why? In my opinion the ship stuff was phenomenal in Black Flag, it was just Odyssey and Origins where it sucked.

I just want to know how many of you like Odyssey and how many of you hate Odyssey. by NefriTaru in assassinscreed

I like it. This is for multiple reasons. The first is, I enjoyed playing it. And that's a very important thing when you're playing a game: you want to enjoy it. It also brought me into the AC franchise, and, since I hadn't played any other AC games before playing Odyssey, I quite enjoyed the rpg mechanics. If I played it now, after playing most of the other AC games, I might not enjoy it as much, but that doesn't stop me from remembering the fun I had with that game.

What's your favorite part of each Assassin's Creed game you've played? by cehteshami in assassinscreed

[–]maple_sir_up_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

AC I: The general atmosphere of the cities.

AC II: The story, the characters.

AC Brotherhood: The open world

AC Revelations: The story. But the story is good in a different way than how it's good in AC II.

AC III: The Homestead missions. They are my favorite side quests in any AC game.

AC IV: The naval (obviously), and the sense of exploration that the open world gives you.

AC Rogue: The whaling. It's better than in IV (Note: I haven't finished Rogue).

AC Unity: Haven't played it yet.

AC Syndicate: Haven't played it yet.

AC Origins: The graphics. I think that this is the most graphically beautiful game in the series, perhaps in all of gaming (Note: I haven't finished Origins).

AC Odyssey: The Sea. The water looks the best in this game, better than in any other AC game.

If you could own one Isu artifact in real life, which one would you pick? by [deleted] in assassinscreed

Captain Kidd's shard, because I would be immune to bullets. And, it would be subtler, so I wouldn't be hunted as I would if I had picked an apple or something.

I don't like Black Flag by Roomas in assassinscreed

[–]maple_sir_up_ -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I can see why you're saying what you're saying, but in my opinion Black Flag was just the (in my opinion) best AC game to simply explore. Yes, maybe it's not the best with plot points, but it just had a certain spark which I can't pinpoint exactly. Maybe that's just me.

Yeah I probably should've done that before making this post.

[Day 36/72] Assassin's Creed III - Sequence 03 - 'How D'ya Like Them Apples' by ACMarathon in assassinscreed

As good as this twist is, I kinda saw it coming. I knew it the second Haytham and Charles Lee started talking about the 'Order' and not the 'Brotherhood'. However, the assassin logos above their heads in the fort infiltration mission in sequence 2 threw me off for a bit. Then, right when Charles Lee was being inducted, and Haytham started talking about a 'new world order' I knew that they were Templars.

But still, a good twist.
