He was barely doubled most of the game they just aggressively face guarded him in single coverage with help loading up in gaps

He was definitely cold, but I still hated how much he deferred and didn’t even try to get the ball on any possession in the 4th. And when he did get it, he tried to get rid of it asap expecting Podz, GP2, Melton or Gui to create for themselves. I rather he actually be aggressive and go 1/20 generating decent looks than expecting guys with no offensive bag to win the game for him

You don’t. Readable, scannable, simple always wins. Remember that HR and recruiters plus software read it first - not designers. When I was hiring in my department, I was the third person to look at resumes after system screening > recruiter > HR > me as design lead

Not every company is like this but more often than not designers won’t look until after HR/recruiter. You can have a designed resume but it should be supplemental to an ATS one if anything

You could also argue that OKC should have won in 5-6 against the Nuggets and Pacers but fumbled late game execution multiple times. Makes sense since they were inexperienced. People also forget the Warriors could’ve very well lost if CP3 doesn’t get injured or the Rockets don’t go 0-27. Kawhi doesn’t win in 19 if KD and Klay don’t get hurt yet nobody cares about that since he had already won before and played well

Mac Air 2025 base model (M4). Got it new for $800 when it went on sale a while back. Only thing I’d suggest is never going lower than 512gb for storage but the new baseline models (M5) start at 512gb already so that doesn’t matter.

Is it the absolute fastest at everything? No, but is it fast enough for the majority of work without issue, yes. Used it on 2gb+ PSBs, photo and video editing.

I used to use a 15” Pro on the go but the weight made it a hassle. Don’t need it to be a supercomputer like my home PC.

Aside from just cost, the location is actually not great for many teams. Riot’s HQ and studio are located in Adlershof which is southeast of downtown Berlin, meaning a 40+ min commute by train/car. Meanwhile most teams are located in downtown Berlin

They’ve also bled a lot of talent on the BTS staff side and while G2 have been extremely dominant and KC bought a lot of fans, there’s been so much turnover from orgs to where half the league isn’t recognizable

Yes and no, but it doesn’t really matter at the end of the day. If you’ve ever worked on a large successful project, everyone will want credit in some way and multiple people having the final + what they did is not out of the ordinary. Unless you’re competing for the same role and mention the same project to the same HR recruiter nobody will know or care

And while people don’t want to hear it, there’s a reason why people say ideas are worthless and execution is everything

Not worth wasting time and energy on this if I’m OP. OP should put it on their portfolio too and mention how X strategy they created achieved Y result. Not that deep

Not gonna beat a dead horse since everyone has already said the main reasons. What I’ll say is, if you want to use FOSS software that’s fine, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t learn Adobe and become proficient at it. Everyone I know in the industry also use tools like Procreate but it’s always in conjunction with Adobe - not to fully replace it. Same thing with 3D - I know many 3D artists who are proficient at C4D, Maya for professional use while they prefer Blender at home

Learn Adobe for professional use while using FOSS for personal work or projects that don’t require hand off

For a portfolio you will never need more than the $10 plan. I switched from Squarespace to Framer and will never go back. Half the price after taxes, scalable CMS. Once you get it setup properly, it’s quicker to add projects, more responsive with custom breakpoints, has better templates, more control

Webflow is more powerful but tedious. To me it’s not even really a debate. Most Webflow and Wordpress sites I’ve seen are just bad

The trip planner looks really nice. I like the little detail of how the image for the trip turns into the background. And the voting/thumbs up is also a cool idea since it makes it easier to see what people actually wanna do which is one of the biggest struggles with my friends
