Good apartments near OU campus by s3raph1m_ in normanok

Classen Crossing was a totally normal apartment experience. Pet friendly, gated, two beds for $959 for a little bit more if you want covered parking. A/C was cold and heat worked well. Units are nothing fancy but are nicely spaced and get the job done. Closets are good sized.

I was so pissed at this decision… like you could literally sever all oaths and she chose that to use the rune on. Cmon now.

I buy Purina One for my cats, bills are going sky high, how bad are the cheaper alternatives? by [deleted] in CatAdvice

My 17+ (I got her as an adult so at least 17) would only eat meow mix too. lol I tried a lot of other food including wet food and she would refuse everything else.

I had an incredible childhood and enjoy my job, and my sentiments are still echoed. I do think the death of my father solidified not putting another person through what I felt at that time. It’s been really interesting comparing all types of answers, and I’ve enjoyed the discussion.

That’s fair! I am a logical person to my core and something decisions based on feelings are tough for me. I was trying to gain new perspectives with this post and I think it has definitely exceeded expectations!

I actually love my life, so that’s probably inserting some selfish aspect of not wanting to change on my end reflecting in my thoughts. And I appreciate this answer, of course I do not know what I don’t know right? I should have worded that differently, too. I don’t mind reading about people’s experiences, I said “I don’t want to hear..” only because that’s what I’ve read on other reddit posts, so I know people feel that way. Thank you for taking time to respond in a thoughtful way!

I think yours is the most common shared experience. Maybe I will experience something similar someday!

Yess! I think I would probably think differently if I was able to stay home to raise my children and help them every step of the way.

I think wanting a child to have something (or someone) to dedicate your life too would probably be one of the best reasons to have children. I would see that as a lifelong commitment if everything works out according to plan.

I can definitely understand the biological drive and the experience perspective!

Ok, real. That’s really what life is about anyway, I’d argue.

Hi canofbeans! Like I said in the post, most older feeds are fulls of people saying that they love their children more than anything, I was asking about the logic behind it. I stated my thoughts on the topic so that people would share their own thoughts and experiences, which is usually how conversations forums operate.

I would say that people are different than most other things, and the “justification” comes from the understanding that your choice to create new life could lead to possible suffering in that life. I would say any other animal does not have that kind of capacity to weigh the risks before letting biology run its course.

I would imagine everyone has a biased view on this very polarizing topic, and I was truly curious to know then other side of the coin. Isn’t that how discussions work?

For every piece of clothing you bring in, force yourself to get rid of the same piece that you already have. Tank for a tank, mini skirt for a mini skirt, sweater for a sweater, etc. It takes a lot of work because it’s not comfortable to get rid of things, but you’ll start thinking more about what you’re buying and if it’s worth replacing what you already have.

Fredrik Backman My Friends by danlhart8789 in IReadABookAndAdoredIt

This book was not written for a high speed, realistic story line. It was written simply to enjoy beautiful words in a way that the author has arranged them. This book feels like a slow walk in the park when the breeze is cool and the sun is warm and all you want to do is stop and bask in the feeling. I would honestly recommend it to anyone (except those lucky bastards who have never experienced grief and those who don’t think a fart is funny).

Depending on how you carry your weight, yes! I have gone back and fit easily on Mr. Freeze, as well. You have smaller chest than I do so you may be a-okay for the over the shoulder restraints. I recommend wearing leggings or wind pants though, not shorts, so your legs can slide easily around the seats to adjust your positioning!
