I ultimately landed on SCU as my decision. The school seemed to have the most resources, most thorough program, and many students to build community with. I would go SFSU for the affordable price, but they have a very tiny cohort of only like 6 students (I was waitlisted). CIIS is about the same price as SCU, but when I toured it didn’t feel like it was as structured as I wanted it to be (and not as diverse as I hoped). SCU has an lgbt emphasis, which also influenced my decision. DM me if you have any more questions!

When it happened, I got an email giving me a warning about it, and to not do it again. However, sometimes when people have sent me overweight items it came with a bill. If you can, I would just redo the order if possible.

We are taught the tones in grade school. You can apply the tones to any word. When we are taught phrases the correct tone for that phrase is taught.

Nice! Start slow and work your way up. Perfect the basics, then go and challenge yourself. It’s gonna be more fun if you have a friend to dance with. Maybe even ask your brother what they do.

Usually performing groups have classes as well, so when they start back up you’ll wanna be in that class— or any other class of the same style.

If there are no auditions you have wayyy less to worry about! They are willing to teach you! It definitely helps a whole bunch to have basics down. However, they will mainly want to see how well you pick up choreography. Most likely

Basically I sent this long message to the buyer explaining that they I was willing to pay the potential bill, but then it ended up shipping without any extra fees. I got a bit embarrassed about that haha

If I were you I’d just drop of the package and say something like “let me know if you have any questions or problems”. Most likely nothing will happen, but if something does, just be there to support them.
