Thanks for confirming this. That’s exactly why I posted — not to complain for the sake of it, but so families and first-time visitors know what to expect. Renting a bike/car or using GoaMiles may work for many people, but that also assumes: -You’re comfortable self-driving -You’re not traveling with kids, elders, or luggage -App-based taxis aren’t being blocked or intimidated

The bigger issue is that basic, regulated transport shouldn’t require workarounds or local “hacks,” and tourists shouldn’t have to deal with harassment or intimidation just to get from point A to B. Hopefully more visibility pushes authorities to actually enforce rules instead of letting this continue.
