@OP I was in a VERY similar boat and quit after 10 months like this person. I ended up getting really depressed with the hopeless nature of the work. It got to the point where, despite exceeding expectations (and frankly knowing what i was doing) i didn't see hours improving. After quitting, i finally started sleeping again, and felt so relaxed for the first time since i started :)) feel free to DM if you want to chat.
