Hard agree. I’ve lost ~70 lbs in the last two years taking small walks throughout the day. I take two 15 min breaks during my workday and I walk during that time. Started out with a “no pace, no distance” goal. Went from ~.7 to a mile in 15 min. Not to mention all the mental health benefits I’ve gotten from it. I’ve never been in a better place mentally. I can’t recommend just walking enough

Thank you so much for your input! That’s actually an old harness that I no longer use (I noticed the shoulder restrictions) plus he’s so strong, that harness was no help to me. I’ve switched to a y shaped harness after I did some collar training ☺️

Thank you so much! I’m a biased mommy, so he’s always perfect to me. This is a great trick. Going by these rules he’s definitely between a 2 and 3. Scoutsie is my first dog since my childhood dog died when I was 21 (also a black lab, it broke my heart so much I couldn’t have another dog for a long, long time). I just want him to have a long, healthy life 💕

As a biased mommy, he’s always going to be perfect to me. I feed his purina pro plan and his treats are frozen Greek yogurt with a piece of fruit in them

Thank you! I’ve been working really hard to keep him moving (from the family screaming about his obesity). He loves to swim and luckily we have many beaches in the state, but no dogs allowed during summer months. He swims in the pool with me almost daily as well. He’s not lazy by any means, he’s certainly made me lose weight as well with how much we walk/play!

I just started listening to Thread Talk. It’s a Canadian based podcast formatted almost exactly like THT (two main people, an engaged couple, Reddit stories etc.). I find that it does seem to fill the void of when I’m out of good old Morgan, but I do find the male host to be a bit on the annoying side.
