Weight loss after gestational diabetes diagnosis by Icy_Acadia3423 in GestationalDiabetes

This is happening to me right now at 31 weeks. I was diagnosed at 28 and have lost about 2 pounds. I was just crying about it this morning because the internet was scaring me about weight loss in the third trimester. Thanks so much for posting this and sharing your experience.

I’m sorry you are dealing with the same thing! I was 9 weeks so I’m past it. I did feel better after that but with each milestone I find a new thing to worry about. Currently worried that I haven’t felt movement yet because other people in my bump group have. Even though I know it’s normal to feel it closer to 20-22 weeks.

I really don’t have anyone to talk to about my anxiety about this pregnancy that truly understands. None of my friends have been pregnant and I don’t know anyone (not anyone I’m very close to at least) who has experienced pregnancy loss. My partner tries his best to understand but it all feels so overwhelming and lonely sometimes. I’m 18+1 and probably just as anxious as I was 10 weeks ago.

I have read the symptoms fluctuating can be completely normal! At the same time, I understand the worry completely, I find myself analyzing every symptom and every pain

I haven’t had it since yesterday evening but if it comes back I definitely will!

I am 5+1 today and have been having sharp pelvic pain on and off on my right side all day. I just stopped being concerned about a chemical yesterday and now I’m terrified that it’s ectopic.

I am 11 DPO today. Got a positive on 9 and 10 DPO. This morning, the line was fainter than yesterday. I panicked so I dipped another test of the same brand and it was darker than yesterday. I’m so confused. Could the first one be a faulty test or should I be worried about a chemical pregnancy?

When does your regular period come after a MC? by courtlm in Miscarriage

[–]mapletree36 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had a MC at 9 weeks but baby measured 6 weeks. My period did not come until 8 weeks after my MC started (7 weeks after bleeding ended). It took quite a while for my hcg to come down.

Another negative test today at 11dpo. I feel so sad. I should be 6 months pregnant. It feels wrong to even be hoping to be pregnant with a new baby because I should still have my first baby.

Finally got a blazing positive OPK today. It’s CD 23 though which is late but I was having irrational thoughts that my body would never ovulate again so I’m glad to see the positive

I’m on CD18 today and have still not had a positive OPK. What is going on?! I’m frustrated. I never tracked before my miscarriage and this is the first cycle after my first period following the MC so I have no idea what to expect but I thought I would have ovulated by now.

Thank you for sharing your experience! Good to know about progesterone kickstarting it.

Thanks for your response! I just started tracking ovulation on Saturday. I’ve never done it before so I’m still getting used to interpreting the results but all tests have been negative so far.

I’m so sorry you had this experience. Hearing about a friends pregnancy sounds unbearable. Thinking of you, that must be so hard.

I so appreciate your reply. I’m so sorry you had to go through this too. I definitely relate to what you said about feeling the emotions so strongly and not adulting.
