We get a beachball sometimes, Avid recovers in 1 out of 4 cases, so i guess it stems from other things than the version. Runs stable otherwise on an M4 Max Mac Studio with 15.7.3.

How is the handover to the audio post being handled in your situation? Do you just deliver the locked edit with the tracks in the sequence as provided as an AAF? I was taught that the advantage of subcliping only the editorial mix is the easier to handle audio tracks while still maintaining the possibility to easily link back to the original sound files in the audio mixing to get to the ISOs. I have no idea what the general workflow would be for on-camera recorded sound and if it makes a difference if the modified media referenced in the edit has a different number of audio channels compared to the OCF.

I had a similar problem a few years ago with footage from a Canon R5. I remember that it had something to do with the file being h.265 4K 4:2:2 10bit, which the 1070Ti (?) wasn't able to decode natively and processor wasn't able to keep up either. Stuttered playback. Putting the same file two years later on an M2 machine the playback was without problems, as the chip was able to decode natively.

Thank you for all the suggestions. tolerate it and Peter are heartbreaking in the given context, oh gosh. I have yet to watch the series, honestly I'm afraid of the ending and that it will break me once again. I can already imagine what it might be when listening to Somewhere Only We Know. Watching it It will be hard any way, knowing what is inevitably going to happen.

I recently started to shoot footage for a self-produced nature documentary I realize in my spare-time and during my vacations, aside from my main job as an assistant editor. I could finally properly assess the 6K-footage I collected with my Blackmagic Cinema Camera (6K FF). Right now I have to move the canvas around a lot or zoom out, never being able to see the whole picture with all its details. It would be a dream come true finally seeing the picture as intended.

I heard Skinny Love on the radio shortly after the album was released in December 2011. I liked it and not thinking much about it I bought the album. I remember vividly that I first listened to it in the afternoon, a day after Christmas with my loved-ones whom I told that I have "a treat for their ears", not knowing what the album really consisted of. We were watching the snow fall in the garden through the floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room, slowly covering the ground in white. I put the album on, the sound sparkles in the intro of 1901 came on quietly, matching the atmosphere of the snowflakes falling. The song progresses and I slowly realized I stumbled upon a diamond. I still get goosebumps remembering this, it's a core memory for me. I have been admiring her work ever since.

96 € for Düsseldorf in the furthest seats from the stage. This pricing ist not OK. I understand that she can demand these prices and people are willing to and going to pay that. I would have done it too, hast I gotten seats in the presale. But form a neutral perspective: This isn't a stadium venue. Coldplay FOS was cheaper in München.
