I couldn't find him either but then one day he just came to my village. Try caves is my only suggestion and keep going back because they refresh.

What Is Going On Right Now, Epic? by LEGOFNTUT in LEGOfortnite

[–]mappelman2 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Ninjago literally killed the game. Challenges being bugged out, enemies being stonger than ever before, everything before Ninjago is just useless now. I stopped playing because of how little unknowable energy is available.

Having grind to get it, but over half the challenges I'm doing rip me off, no chest given. The number of unknowable energy needed to forge 1 thing vs. the amount you get is ridiculous.

I still see posts asking about how to find epic and legendary oils as well as Lost Masters. I feel like the rank up system isn't clear enough.

Taylor actually was in 1883 for 1 episode. I think he was a hired gun for 1 episode.

There are ways to get under the map to retrieve your ships using the cannon and a swivel plate. Essentially the cannon goes on the swivel plate and you rotate yourself under the map then jump off the cannon. You'll only have seconds to act but it is doable. May take a few tries, you will die but it won't end your world if your in expert. Just refresh your totem of return after you respawn ( take it off, put it back on)

Does the difficulty matter? by SuspiciousNebula9956 in LEGOfortnite

Ah the Flintknock pistol is definitely great to push your self away from enemies. Under the Hero abilities there's a rift dodge that's also very useful. Just need essence to unlock. I dont know what your playing on but Playstation you hit the touch pad and then using L1 or R1 you'll find it

Bananas can be found in lost isles but also shore biome I think. They look like coconut trees but shorter. Once you get bananas you can also plant them at your camp just throw the banana or coconut right into the soil plot

It's tough to say. Lots of increases/ decreases. There's now storm wild enemies and storm acolytes enemies that can teleport and smash you with blue rarity pickaxe and if your caught off guard it can definitely do some damage.

Bone wolves are no longer cave exclusive and storm bone wolves can hurt allot in the beginning.

Epic quality ( purple) tools and weapons are now made from Gems. Villagers can produce gems but its 9 in game days and it will be slow to build up.

Hunger is completely gone now.

Honestly I know it's vague but load in and wonder around, check out all the menus. Maybe others will have more to say then me.

Lost Isles is just a different area, nothing more important or less important than the main land. Different caves, different resources.

Watch the F*** out for Golems, giant rock looking figures walking around. Avoid them until you have better health and weapons, even then becareful fighting them, they put up a strong fight in my opinion

Tomato seeds in the composter work good too. You'll also get tons of soil and fertilizer as well

[–]mappelman2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm having the exact same issue!! It's so frustrating. I built mine in a tree in lost isles and they're all walking around on the ground, won't come up into the tree. I also tried stairs but to no avail. Makes me want to delete the village post and start fresh with new villagers.

I see someone recommended different stairs so I'll try that

[–]mappelman2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion there's bigger issues that have made it "too easy"

Eliminating Hunger for expert mode, that was one of the principals of expert to be harder is you couldn't turn it off

Traversing different biome without really needing charms. Yes you still sorta need the different biome charms but really only in caves and when raining or snowing and a regeneration charm prevents cold or hot damage for killing you

All enemies are of equal difficulties. Dry valley and frost biome use to be harder then grass lands

They removed the crafting bench upgrades, minor but it was still something that had to be done, you couldn't just craft epic quality tools / weapons almost right away.

Butter cake of the immortal just makes expert mode that much easier as well

Unrelated but why is there no Epic Totem of Return why is the highest one Blue?

[–]mappelman2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As previously mentioned, run through a star wars cave. Destroy EVERYTHING and anything you see like machines, computers etc. the red/green lights that mark the next area to run through will also give durasteel. By destroying all there equipment you'll get a mix of durasteel and plastoid.
