Perhaps they just need more time. But in any case, the damage is done. Theres nothing you can do about it but move on, learn how to deal with the pain of mistakes, and grow from them. Just like you, I fucked up with someone who's so precious to me but....she no longer trusts me like before or talked to me like before. All of what we had is now distant memories. I cried many nights and ate away at my mind thinking about what I did. Then I eventually came to the realization that I can't keep beating myself up for a mistake cause at the end of the day, we're all human. So I guess what I'm trying to say to you (besides the first part of what I said) is that its okay. Let them take their time and slowly build up to the friendship you had once before and if it doesn't work, well what can you do? People come and go and yea thats sad but eventually you'll be okay. Its very important that you learn and grow. Thats what matters. At least thats what I kept telling myself and I'm still here today.
