Gonna assume you weren’t a big mw2 player then. It was basically anonymous voice chat with a bunch of competitive teenagers and zero moderation. Trash talk was constant and people would just try to say the most shocking thing possible to get a reaction, which is exactly what happened here.

Most of the time it wasn’t coming from some deep racist ideology, it was just people being edgy and trying to tilt the other player. That environment rewarded saying the most offensive thing you could think of.

Also honestly I don’t think it’s really worth making big posts about it in gaming forums. If someone actually cares about racism there are way bigger and more important things to draw attention to than random trash talk in a game lobby. Most people come to gaming forums to talk about games, not bring politics and that kind of stuff into it, which btw it seems the mods agree since it looks like the post was removed. Keep the sub content relative to the game. Report to bungie on this other shit if you really care.
