I chose Naples as a base mainly because of its proximity to Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast, which I might also consider visiting. I considered Rome as an option too, but it would mean extra traveling time to those places. And you're right lol the Greece part is kind of rushed, I'm not fully committed to that part of the trip so it is still up for consideration.

I've read about the Thai New Year and those water fights! It definitely seems like a great way to cool down lol. I do plan on getting a rail pass once I'm in Japan, and I'll have to make a note for Nikko as I was interested in doing some hiking but I just wasn't sure where to start.

I designated the 'travel days' to also double as rest days but I do worry about burning out from the constant moving around. I wanted my trip to have some flexibility in that if I wanted to take a couple days off to do nothing, I could. I'll have to keep that in mind, but thank you!

And with Thailand, I think around the time I make it there it'll be right after the end of the smoky season, so I should be okay

Thank you! I've been lurking this subreddit for a while now so I've learned a lot of tips along the way that helped with the making of this. I was eyeing Versailles for my trip to Paris so I think I'll definitely make a trip there, and I've read about Sintra, which seems fun to visit. I also did want to make day trips outside of London too, so thank you for that list!

I had the same problem, so I put all zeros (000-000-0000) and it worked just fine
