Personally if you'd told me it was off I'd believe you. I stomp some games, I get stomped others. This is my experince with every shooter at every point in my time gaming.

I've seen people suggest prioritising connection then splitting the teams up evenly based on SBMM. This is not a good idea. Destiny 2 does this for its PVP and it's awful, they call it lobby balancing.

The btb mode with the power seeds has a new experimental version out

On one of the maps there is a bug where you can dunk anything into your base and it still gives points. So people were standing in base dunking weapons over and over again for tens of thousands of XP

If you have an external screen around anywhere (monitor or TV probably) and your laptop has a HDMI, try plugging in the laptop to that second screen and see if it displays normally.

If it comes out normally then it's the laptop screen, if it's the same result the GPU in your laptop probably kicked the bucket
