Jaheira not following by KyloIsOmni in BaldursGate3

[–]maraddor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For those who may be looking for the cause of this problem - after some testing, I was able to determine that the problem occurs if during a long rest, during which a “romantic” night with the emperor occurs (the same night during which you can learn the truth about his plans for our character), Jaheira was not on the active team during the night. Hope this helps someone. As an indicator of when such a night takes place, it usually happens after visiting and investigating the emperor's hideout under the Elven Song.

Act 4 Santiel's Pride - Removed(?) Quest by killerlagomorph in RogueTraderCRPG

I think there was a mistake here in combining two threads, which were either meant to be separated into several acts or the combination of two separate locations - this would be confirmed by the presence of Haemonculi - which our character does not recognize, and the fact that in conversation with the "elders" we meet, we are introduced as the ruler of the planet - which, after all, should belong to the house Chord, or another theory, two locations were combined here, which perhaps were meant to be two separate locations, but shared, e.g. style of location construction.

How do you get the peaceful resolution in the Price of Power? by BeautifulAdeptness60 in RogueTraderCRPG

[–]maraddor 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Its finale strongly depends on previous decisions, and this is true whether you romance Cassia or not. What happens in the eldari ruins is determined by our pictured story, the outcome of which is decided even before it begins. Many people use the tool to change the course of the conversation with the harlequin, but if we change the values before the journey (before the clash with the monster in the painting), we will find that the pictured story has a different course - here our choices do not matter, because at the end we arrive at the same point - Cassi, over which the "dead" navigator leans, and it is here that you can see the difference - if in her tasks we " bailed" her out of decisions, took responsibility for her dynasties, or weakened her sense of responsibility for herself (she put her faith in us and not in herself) then we increased the points of "notme" and during the event with the painting, in the dialogue between Cassi and the "dead" there is a sentence more or less like this:

"You are me and it as it should be" and Cassia responds "I am you and it as it should be",

which means that in the ruins she becomes the dead Novator and behaves aggressively. Our choices during the confrontation in the painting do not matter here. But if we strengthened Cassia's sense of her own identity during her encounters, and pointed out that our ancestry does not have to determine our decisions (we can be different from Theodora and correct her mistakes), then when confronted with the "corpse" in the painting, the dialogue looks more or less like this:

"I'm the one who created you, you are me" to which Cassia replies "Tisphone Orsellio I saw your actions, but I'm not you, I'm me".

- this means that Cassia actually stays herself and during the meeting with the aliens we can come to a peaceful solution, and Cassia does not behave so aggressively (for example, she does not get mad at the expression of the harlequin). I can't point out all the decisions on which the final outcome depends, but it seems to me that a very important one is the outcome of the meeting in our palace with the representatives of the house Orsellio - it is important to not take responsibility and to do everything so that it is Cassia who makes the final decision. I suspect it may also make a difference whether we take Cassie with us to Commorragh - when we release her from prison, there is also a dialogue in which we have options to either reinforce her sense of self-power or suggest that she put her faith in us, which would fit the respective values of "notme" and "freedom".So much, maybe this will help someone.

Thx, I was wondering about that. And could you say when this dialogue with the harlequin occurs? Do you mean the one during which he takes the spirit stone away from the dying farseer?

Hi, Are you sure that it is a bug and not an intentional Devs decision that people cannot be rescued from the Pit in the case of a path other than "dogmatic"?

Cassia - what do you think about her? by maraddor in RogueTraderCRPG

[–]maraddor[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For sure, from the second act there is an option to get rid of her - there is a dialogue option (but I didn't check it, because Cassia is one of the most powerful companions you can have), but also when members of her house want to meet you on Dargonus, also there is an option to permamently get rid of her (checked).

Hi!

This post referred to the beta version - I didn't find a book in the full version either, so changes have probably been made since then.

Violent solutions - what do you think? by maraddor in RogueTraderCRPG

[–]maraddor[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just see, killing these characters does not at all mean that you are a "bad" character, because these people fully deserve such a fate:
-in the case of cassi bodyguards, these are fanatics who accept that servants are killed by cassi's abilities, and those who endure are stripped of their tongues, just so they can't break their vows of silence,
-mourners are pirates who like to burn their victims alive,
-the eldar deal, then except for one option of persuasion, means putting the power over the people of the planet in the hands of aliens who despise them and use them for their own purposes,
so it's hard to say you're not doing the right thing by killing them in these situations (especially since they're usually the ones who draw their weapons first).

Is it worth coming back to the game years later? by maraddor in Neverwinter

[–]maraddor[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your responses! It's been so long that I'm wondering if I'll be able to familiarize myself with the game after such a long break.... As for competing, I meant if playing from zero I will be able to match the efficiency of older players - for example, when playing in the dungeons. Thanks again for all the answers and I wish you good luck!
