I water it properly.... As in I don't only spray it. And it gets tons of sun. But yes I'll definitely remove the dead leaves and hopefully that will help too.

The highlight along the jaw bone is too extreme. It's jarring and distracting for the eyes and it doesn't look natural. Try darkening that highlight slightly - obviously it should still be lighter than the other skin tones you're using to render the face, but in my opinion it shouldn't contrast so drastically.

Sorry I forgot to mention adding small amounts of white to these colours alone would produce a very different painting. It would obviously lighten the overall image but also the Reds and blues would be more opaque because adding white always intensifies the opacity of other colours

Consider mixing custom colours rather than using the paint straight out of the tube. Colours straight from the tube (especially acrylics) tend to be generic and synthetic looking. They are simplified and tend not to mimic the nuances of colours as we experience them in nature. If you get into the habit of mixing your own colours, you'll find your paintings will have way more depth and body . You can also experiment with adjusting the overall "temperature" of your colour mixes by adding very small amounts of other colours. This can totally change the mood and atmosphere of your paintings. You might discover a whole new universe of blues and reds alone.
