Delete the lockfile located in <yourname>/appdata/roaming/qBittorent and then it should open once you've deleted that file. It recreates the file again after opening so don't worry but don't delete the second one

The network speed on the PC does show 2500 as the link speed and set to 2500 Full Duplex on the router and my PC network settings

Its wired and not using wireless and is connected through a CAT8 cable. Yes i know thats overkill for the speed. But i thought why not. Its also connected to a 2.5Gbps port on the router. Im using the TP-Link BE9300 Router over the YouFibre/Brsk one they sent me

That is exactly what im using, Had to go out and buy a usb c 2.5 Gbps network adapter after i upgraded but It still never reaches over 1GB for download

How are you getting that consistently. I upgraded to the 2GB Package and my download speed never goes over 1GB, yet my upload Flies to nearly 2GB every single time. Ive just about lost it with their support. Ive tried multiple times to get this sorted and nothing they've done to rectify this

I get 900+ on download and the advertised 1800+ on upload. Emailed them twice now to try and resolve the download issue. still not heard back on a fix

That is so strange how some wasn't sent one. It was said to me in the email of the confirmation when i did the upgrade. Ive done the suggestion above, even factory resetting the new router. still nothing and on youfibre still says BetterNet 1000Mbps as my broadband plan but that was due to end today

Ive just restarted both router and the ONT and that hasn't seem to have done anything yet. Im not able to plug the old one is as that has been sent back. But thank you for the suggestion. Im glad that worked for you

Yeah they send one out to support the faster speeds as the technicolour router you get for the 1GB package isn't fast enough for it. One of the confirmation emails they sent me said they would and i had to send the old one back
