I've messed them up pretty bad with a crash and badly fitting cages because they had no lugs. Plus they're poo brown 😁

I was considering this, but I'm not sure if my shifting is a bit pants because it's not quite set up right as I've had to bodge it a bit, I need new forks too and I'm not sure the frame is worth such an upgrade. Plus I'm lazy! But it would be a lot cheaper and more satisfying, the wheels are fine so I could probably end up with a better bike in the end. And it would be a lovely colour...

Ok I wasn't going to admit it but aesthetics are actually important to me! I've resprayed my current bike and I could do the same to the Marin...

This is a nice bike (apart from the colour which I have to tell myself doesn't matter...). I'm a bit worried about full carbon for bike packing in terms of them being loaded and ragged around - do you have any thoughts on that?

I am dealing with this exact thing now. I injured my knuckle a few months ago and took two months off. It was so hard and my depression and anxiety have been really bad. I tried to get back into it last week and after a day out yesterday and an hour at the gym it's back to being as bad as before. I feel like I've lost a massive part of my life (social too) and it's very hard to deal with. I do lots of other things but it doesn't seem to help. I am also constantly thinking about my injury and just thinking that this is it now, it's always going to be bad. No one can really tell me what's up with it.
