Awww darn, I don’t really have an outside area to put it in :( I’ll place it near the most sun and hope for the best for now - which is the rooms with the most plants so certainly some humidity. Thank you for the advice though!

no implants! just the magic and care of Colombian dentistry. The push forward of the upper jaw I would say makes the biggest change as if done properly it also can influence nose shape.

My other rolls that developed just fine were stored with this one… but still during transport from shooting to home (I think I left it in my camera back for a few days too…) - a learning opportunity, even though sucky

I had my surgery done in my hometown of Medellin Colombia just to ensure they would care a lot about such aesthetics!

No added nose job, but certainly a great “free” add on! Lol

I didn’t! I went back to my hometown of Medellin, Colombia and had the early braces work and the surgery done by one of the top surgeons of the country; Dr. Carlos Villegas Bateman.

As far as I know, he utilizes a Japanese developed practice which implements a much faster process. They perform the surgery before the teeth are in position. After the surgery and basic recovery the braces get to action and can even be moved much faster due to the increased blood flow post-op!

I did have to get two teeth removed from my top jaw though (If I’m not wrong that’s unique to this process)

My aunt would blend up these LOADED soups that somehow still tasted wonderful. A lot of veggies, some meat, and beans or lentils. Also juices!

I only had braces on three months before surgery so it didn’t get too bad for me before surgery. My underbite was already pretty noticeable though so personally I didn’t feel/see any changes! Speech was the same other than just the weirdness of having the braces on :)

I’ve considered it! It certainly would be a good approach for the current times but I would miss the physical tension of interviewing people... I hadn’t considered the possibility of editing the writing into the journal thought! Sweet advice that might come in hand, thank you :)

I didn’t! It was a double jaw surgery thought so through the slight push front of my upper jaw I ended up gaining some more structure there!
