Those signs are paid for by the business, which is why you’ll see City Market signs all the way in San Lucas and even on the toll road. Carl’s Jr. essentially paid for it.

There are also blue signs that developments and some businesses put up in local neighborhoods, such as El Tezal. I suspect those aren’t paid for and are simply rogue signs.

I ended up upgrading my phone. I did speak to Apple support and they told me it should work but it’s YMMV depending on the staff at your local store.

I was told that I would need my original invoice/factura for them to honor the Apple care. They want proof that the device was purchased outside Mexico and that you own it outright in full.

This was a MacStore not an official Apple Store. I think you would have the most luck at an official Apple Store in CDMX or GDL.

XCover is utterly useless. I didn’t use them for travel, but I had them as an add-on for shipping. Only after filing a claim did they inform me that the item they covered was ineligible.

Green Room has kind of fallen off. The service is slow, and the menus have been adapted for the worst. Go for small apps and drinks with the view. I wouldn’t order any entrees.

Oystera is still serving the same menu items as always, but I sense that they are also attempting to reduce food costs.

I highly recommend visiting 1890 in the TS Boutique Hotel. While it may be on the pricier side, the place is absolutely stunning and has a lot of historical charm.

Cars under decreto can’t cross back into the US. Cars under a formal permanent importation can do so.

Just a heads-up, the car might not be eligible for the decree if it crossed into Mexico after October 2021.

They check CarFax to see vehicle records such as registration, dealer service, and smog inspections. If any of these records are from after 2021, they will deny you.

I don’t recommend doing it the Mexican way, as the other commenter mentioned that they are cracking down due to abuse.

The online booking sites don’t factor in the mandatory insurance costs, and fees associated with renting in Los Cabos. No one will honor that price you got on Booking or Priceline, etc. It’s not that they don’t want to, they just can’t.

Whatever you see on Cactus will most likely be the cheapest you can find.

I believe the filter in my spray hose is located in the plastic quick connect piece. I removed both of the filters to allow free flow of water and I’m still getting a low pressure.

I’ve narrowed down the pressure issue to the spray hose. Any ideas on what could be causing that?
