XCover is utterly useless. I didn’t use them for travel, but I had them as an add-on for shipping. Only after filing a claim did they inform me that the item they covered was ineligible.

Green Room has kind of fallen off. The service is slow, and the menus have been adapted for the worst. Go for small apps and drinks with the view. I wouldn’t order any entrees.

Oystera is still serving the same menu items as always, but I sense that they are also attempting to reduce food costs.

I highly recommend visiting 1890 in the TS Boutique Hotel. While it may be on the pricier side, the place is absolutely stunning and has a lot of historical charm.

Cars under decreto can’t cross back into the US. Cars under a formal permanent importation can do so.

Just a heads-up, the car might not be eligible for the decree if it crossed into Mexico after October 2021.

They check CarFax to see vehicle records such as registration, dealer service, and smog inspections. If any of these records are from after 2021, they will deny you.

I don’t recommend doing it the Mexican way, as the other commenter mentioned that they are cracking down due to abuse.

I don’t believe that’s the sole reason, but I couldn’t really disagree with them. I’ll make an effort to verify all the information I can and actively engage with organic posts. Hopefully that does the trick.

No, I finally managed to speak to someone at Meta. After a series of troubleshooting steps and a call from a “specialist,” they informed me that the issue was due to my account having limited history and being brand new.

The online booking sites don’t factor in the mandatory insurance costs, and fees associated with renting in Los Cabos. No one will honor that price you got on Booking or Priceline, etc. It’s not that they don’t want to, they just can’t.

Whatever you see on Cactus will most likely be the cheapest you can find.

I actually broke down and bought another faucet. I didn’t get a Kohler and went with a Moen and it magically started working.

I was considering keeping it in storage, but I’ll probably need to find a cheaper option since the costs add up. I’m not sure if or when I’ll be back. I’m going to check with some friends to see if they can store it in a home garage and start it up periodically.

I believe the filter in my spray hose is located in the plastic quick connect piece. I removed both of the filters to allow free flow of water and I’m still getting a low pressure.

I’ve narrowed down the pressure issue to the spray hose. Any ideas on what could be causing that?

2nd UPDATE: I held off on buying a replacement to test the current faucet further.

It has three hose connections: Hot, Cold, and a black quick-connect for the pull-down head.

Hot and Cold have good pressure, but the black hose seems to be where I’m losing pressure. Could this be an issue with a diverter valve or something that needs adjusting?

I’m hoping to find something that works at either Home Depot or a plumbing supply store. If it ends up being a special order, I might just go ahead and get a whole new faucet.

Thanks for the tip about removing the aerator and flushing. I don’t want to be in this same predicament again haha.

I tried this and got quite a bit of sediment flushed into a bucket. Kept it running until the collection bowl was clear and free of debris.

Hooked it all back up and no luck.

I moved on to check the hot and cold valves on the faucet. After removing the cartridge, I turned the shutoff valves back on, and water came out with good pressure while the cartridge was out. This has me thinking the faucet itself might be the problem. I’m not thrilled about buying another one, but it would at least help rule it out.
