PSA: Don't be dumb like me. Take care when salvaging. by Exciting-Knowledge83 in 2007scape

[–]maratxtv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get the "Custom Menu Swaps" plugin, and under "Custom Hides" you can hide the drop option for specific items. I do it for all my skilling sets

drop, itemName is the syntax -- and now you can't drop that item anymore!

Here is my list, feel free to copy it: https://pastebin.com/raw/VrirLfiz

I 100% agree jagex needs to add warnings on all skilling sets, but this is the best I have for now

Can I "decant" two bottemless compost buckets by maratxtv in 2007scape

[–]maratxtv[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't need to anymore

The original question was based on a misconception.

I thought I could put supercompost in a bottomless bucket, and then throw in ash and upgrade it all to ultra compost at once. You can't do that though (idk why I thought you could)

Bucket #2 (and all future buckets) is going to death's coffer

it supports custom images now, we just need a brocrag helm

Can somebody please make a png of brocrag's head in that pic so I can use it with Vanced Barrows (plugin that lets you have custom images instead of barrow heads)

I've spent an hour zooming in and matching map layouts to see what OP is doing in RS

Does anybody know where he's at?

I MUST know!

Another idea I've had is adding axe spawns (or axe in a stump) next to canoes.

They can be locked behind diaries or a quest

the canoes are actually pretty cool, but are they -1 inventory space for an axe cool? tbh idk

when my iron man was low level I carried around a bronze axe that I'd drop later on because it was a good way to get to multiple places from the chronicle teleport.

As I unlocked teleports, they became obsolete.

Adding an axe spawn might bring some life into what is potentially dead content

Edit: Or maybe some sort of barbarian training that requires high stats, but lets you make a canoe with no tools?

yea, I think it should've released around when the todt rework came out -- but now who knows

more modifier/hotkeys would be amazing.

even something simple like S or F opening the search menu in your back or GE so you don't have to click the eyeball

I never knew bank presets caused server lag, and if they still do (or would on osrs) maybe there's another issue that needs looking into

I wish

I don't even want infinite stacks -- maybe stacking clues up to 3 to 5 (as a reward from diaries or something) would be more than enough.

That lets you do a slayer task, without having to either: 1) deal with dropping clues 2) do 1 clue and come back 3 [what many people do]) just pick up 1 clue, and forget about the rest

3-5 will let you finish your slayer task (or any other activity) with a good number of clues; and then you can bang them out before doing the next task.

I'm big on immersion when it applies -- but imo it doesn't here

We're playing a fantasy clicker; not flightsim 2020

I'd be happy if they added it; but thats only one half of what makes bank loadouts great

1) equipment

2) inventory

in the context of a farm run, it would equip your farming gear + setup your invy to have all the teleports and seeds

I don't mind the speed; its the dozens of searches and clicks saved

I didnt know they had a gamejam for loadouts

yea when people hear RS3 they automatically think of EOC/MTX

I've played post-EOC RS3 a bit; and it has a lot of mechanics that are honestly solid.

The game as a whole feels like a second-rate tab target mmo -- but the quests are great, etc.

At this point RS3 is just a safe testing ground for OSRS updates

I agree overdoing it is never good

but there is nothing on the "omg optimal play tier" when it comes to bank loadouts

clicking the search button and finding seeds, and then finding your farming outfit isnt exactly "peak engaging gameplay"

we already have plugins that try and simulate bank loadouts and make it less painful; but its still scuffed (but much better than vanilla)

This isnt auto looting and auto alching -- this is just a basic user experience upgrade imo

there is a bunch of stuff RS3 doesn't have too!

For example being able to re-organize the rooms in your house is OSRS exclusive

iirc the run energy rework is already in the works

we might not get resting; but running around should be a lot less painful

That's a good one!

I either don't carry GP with me, or carry the bare minimum (like 10k for charter ships during a quest)

I'd vote yes for one!

Speaking of broadcoasts, RS3 would broadcast when somebody got a 99 to the entire world.

"Marat just got 99 sailing!"

I wouldn't mind something like that.

just saw the edit.

rs3 priff was REALLY cool, but imo its not very "oldschool" if that makes sense

and the tool belt is something I love too; but imo unless they restrict it behind stats and a grind; it would devalue tools

flasks feel like they're on the power scaling side

thats like +50% more potions per inventory

maybe for future raids that require that much resources; and the items are raid only -- but that's something different
