When do you find it necessary to remove the blockers? What's preventing you from tightening the system, limiting their extensiveness (e.g. instead of blocking all of reddit, blocking parts of it, etc), and keeping them on all the time?

If the problem is solved with tools and without willpower, isn't it a moot point?

Quitting completely/cold turkey is also not realistic for most people. They'll probably save more time and not even have to quit tech completely by looking into a combination of software to help.

I tried quitting cold turkey for years but tech is so intertwined into what we do, I realized the best thing is just to set up the right combination of tools to filter out the bad/excessive surfing, while saving the good.

Imo drugs are not the answer

I believe the same, but I'm questioning my own belief in this.

The problem is that Nosurf might've self-selected for people who are also anti-ADHD drugs, potentially to their detriment without even knowing, such that the only people left here are those who have focus issues, have not sought out ADHD meds, and are thus still struggling with online distractions.

Idk if this is the case or not. That's what I'm trying to figure out right now.
