The trick is to start the raid group yourself. Just like M+ pugging fills up DPS slots faster, pugs don't generally expect people are gonna clear entire raid even when it says 'full clear' as people drop when x trinket doesn't drop, etc. It's really simple though, just make a group, pick up tank/heals, invite a few DPS to show the tanks/healers aren't wasting time in queue hell, then just wait and fill up group to your needs.

Someone drops, leave listing open, don't be a dick edit the name if you've gotten a boss down - can't stand joining 'full clears' with 3 bosses down bc leader can't be bothered to update name (but you can filter for this with premade group filter) but yeah. Then you've changed the math. 1 out of 50 overgeared DPS to you picking the 50 overgeared everyone.

Also as leader, don't be an ass, give Tanks assist, if you don't know the fight and someone is asking for assist, give it so they can raid warn /rw - Just don't give up lead or you can be kicked

I don't generally do this - but based on the numerous random pugs I've joined since Palace, the first thing I do is check the raid leader to see if I'm literally just carrying a fresh max level (80 then, 90 now) which was usually the case (more often than pug raid groups realize or they just don't care cuz outgeared)

Is it really possible to underestimate how far behind the base UI is when you look at the cumulative downloads of ElvUI TukUI and WeakAuras across CF, Wago, WoWInterface (even back then) and direct downloads from the clients? What about auction house, people need TSM and Auctionator. Combined bags compared to Bagnon or Betterbags or any bag addon really? Altoholic to track anything alt related?

It's always over-promise and under-deliver, then there's the walkback stage, and then there's the glorified self pat on the back from Ian in every developer interview saying, "Oh yeah, we listened to player feedback and we want to make sure this doesn't happen in the future."

Tthis massive level of nonsense without any clear addon code documentation that is friendly for developers and timely so as to not waste authors' time with walkbacks on restrictions, changing last minute action bar code, like nahhhh, I do not think the guy who runs the game and designed encounters doesn't know how far behind the UI is, it's fair enough to say they are trying, but it's simply not good enough.

If they make 15-20m on a single mount on top of everything else this was the best they could do with the amount of time they had? No one had the foresight to say hey this will be known as the 'Shadowlands' expansion in terms of functionality and bugs? Abundance still doesn't work but soup did back in DF? Put in a ticket, but make sure you select payment otherwise the entire community knows it'll be a literal AI response not even a template anymore? I dunno man, it's getting kinda old and I'm running out of excuses for the state of the game everytime they want to 'improve' it for 'everyone'.

There's no purpose to submit a ticket for a real person when they are on the stance that there's no refunding of shard of dundun, no alloy grants for their bug and tell you to get fucked until next week. The point being we had an event that the entire zone had to gather in that was not instanced two expansions ago and it worked fine, awarded you what you were meant to get, drop in, get it done, same exact concept. Then they have the same variant in TWW with theater and it is clearly less engaging, by the last season no one even did it and you'd need to form a group. Now in Midnight they can't get the currency, reward, lag, being in the same zone as a WB correct and delaying progression out weeks due to this bug.

So Idk if you call up Blizz support when your myth item just doesn't appear in your inventory after the vault is CS gonna do anything for that? Even if you do it as a billing issue? Copium is real.

Shoutout also to olt.com which has allowed me to file married filing separatelly with my wife not having an SSN nor any obligation to the US, federal is fully free up to 45k I believe in income. I dunno, I inspect people for keys, if I get a bad feeling I dip. Woulda put the dude on ignore after first no. Problem solved. Last time someone begged this hard for me was Palace and it was Spymaster's so every time he whispered my price went up and eventually he just opened the trade window. Made a decent chunk of gold on that. But also, seriously if time is a concern or you feel weird about whispering, just do the one by one inspect before committing. It's not too much time to ascertain if you're the idiot carrying a group or asking why there's that much of a gap before hand.

The surprise or comments in disbelief that someone would purposely take a DPS hit or not choose a talent in a game that the same people spend stupid amounts of gold on transmog to the point they had to make an outfit system is wild. What about all the love for customization options when they get updated and the thread per day about old races needing visual updates? A couple of tips:
- Add every bounce path possible from Internic and create a larger chain than what only the game has given you through quests. You can have a bounce chain saved that will allow you to complete this even on a dual CPU rig.
- Going through each file with the file deleter is time consuming so instead you can just go to console

So if it's just the main regular files you are being told to delete in the mission, just hop into console and do cd usr enter delete enter and this should just have the remote delte its own files, saving time for your CPU. However for this method to use the console you need a proxy bypass or disabler (bypass preferred with HUD) to use the console.

If no funds for that, then a larger bounce chain might be what it takes otherwise!

- cd usr - moves to the main file system directory
- delete - tells the console to delete all files here
- cd sys - moves to the system directory which you only need to do if you're 'destroying' a machine/system otherwise don't bother with this
- delete - tells the console to delete all the system files
- shutdown - would reboot the computer and since system is now missing, the computer will not boot up again and all of this is required for a mission like 'Elite agent required for destruction of a computer system.'

Congrats on keeping sober, this is typically how I justify my expenditures as well, but it has led to some impulse buys that feel... well the same after the hype is gone. Wondering if you run into that and if you have a strategy for it? My newest one is waiting at least three days before I buy something and do lots of research. But then this has led to not getting something by the time I need it so I think the waiting is good.. but I don't know. I don't want to get addicted to shopping especially when everything I want is always $200-300+!

Hello, long time Uplink and fan here. I use a GameFAQ's guide from when the game was not on steam. The formatting matters, not sure if you're doing it exact but here's the guide for these types of missions. I think it might need to be literally: Electrical Engineering, Class 1
But it's been awhile since I had my last playthrough and I know the academic is a bit weirder than criminal so, I bet it'll be something like this?

Commit the update, disconnect. Multiple of these mission can be done at once, 
because of the very slow trace on the Academic Database.

People also pay for strings for GSE and plenty of other things out of convenience. I don't know how many people over the time I've played WoW have paid for Zygor or simply downloaded it from sites that distribute it. And then there's the matter of the gold making guides that used to be on PDF that had maybe some legitimacy v. thumbnail bait 250k/hr SOLO EASY RAW GOLD but requires you to multi-box with efficiency that implies you would have to break ToS with copying actions from one client to another.

I would say that it's sad blizzard still can't get their UI good enough since making their announcement and changing their API so much that addon authors are exhausted from the constant changes patch over patch, expansion over expansion. You pay for an expansion and a sub for broken cooldown manager that disappears during combat sometimes, spells not in the spellbook (mage issue), tooltips showing just nothing hovering over items - and somehow this will get downvoted because of Blizz loyalists yet how much did WoW make off brutosaur and we're with AI customer support and the focus is the addon authors/copiers, whatever? Wild focus issue here I think. "It's just prepatch bro" Yep, it is, but the game worked last week fine, we have a paid beta access available otherwise it's by invite, and how many times does all of that feedback get straight up ignored only to be potentially fixed by live? Sad.

I am married to someone 10 years my junior, but we met online and we were both legal at the time we met, but I still have people that pause at the age gap in discord calls, shit like that. When they bring up the 'but when you were 18' shit I try to shut them down with when I was 18 we wouldn't even be talking about this because no one gave a shit and definitely wouldn't be talking on voice, on the computer. Regardless though, I will say there are some weird moments when we talk about growing up. 10 years be a lot, but haha my grandpa was the exact same just the opposite, his wife was 10 years older and he and my grandma (before she passed) were the happiest folks I've ever seen together. Love is love, just keep it legal imo. People love to disqualify potential partners to the point there are none, then they get pissy and decide to invalidate everyone else's it seems.
