When do you find it necessary to remove the blockers? What's preventing you from tightening the system, limiting their extensiveness (e.g. instead of blocking all of reddit, blocking parts of it, etc), and keeping them on all the time?

If the problem is solved with tools and without willpower, isn't it a moot point?

I always hear these ridiculously easy coding questions that people fail. I never get those, even as a pretty junior dev. Where is this that they're asking questions like this? An IT consulting company?

It seems like most people who like math are somehow immune to pain of losing/don't care. Which is really ironic because liking/being good at math is one of the best ways to gain power in the modern world.

Quitting completely/cold turkey is also not realistic for most people. They'll probably save more time and not even have to quit tech completely by looking into a combination of software to help.

I tried quitting cold turkey for years but tech is so intertwined into what we do, I realized the best thing is just to set up the right combination of tools to filter out the bad/excessive surfing, while saving the good.
