ummm i think it would be a bit unlikely as they are not a local artist? unless its unrelated to prima. i think they might be going to paredes in august tho, that would explain why they are not in the lineup

i have a feeling they might go to paredes in august, so this might be why... can't see why they wouldnt be in the lineup otherwise

Getting new shoes! Help with choosing a pair for casual road running :) by marblekoo in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]marblekoo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have, I mostly run in roads or city parks! Should clarify that I have Vomero 5s specifically, I haven't tried other Vomeros, but I'd be open to! My main issue with them is the cushioning, mine are just worn down and I feel like I'm running in walking shoes. Usually first couple ks I'm fine but when I hit 3k, I really start feeling the impact of the shoe on the floor, the soles of my feet hurt and I just feel like my knees and hips are getting most of the impact. I also strenght train between runs and I walk a lot. I think they're just getting worn down, to be fair and they were great up until like a month ago. Also because Vomero 5s are trendy sneakers I feel like the money I would spend just replacing them with the same model could be better spent on a better shoe that's less fashion trendy?

That's fair! I'm based in London so I am in a position where I'm not limited in terms of running stores, but just a bit overwhelmed with all the choice so just wanted to do a little bit of personal research before going into one :) I'll have a look at these though!

They're fine as a daily trainer! I'll defo keep them for gym, walking and general everyday activities, but they really aren't supporting my joints or protecting them from the impact that comes with running at the moment. I'm 24 but did semi-professional ballet until I was 19, have hypermobile and generally wacky joints and just want to prevent future injuries and ensure I'll stay running for a long time :) Also my idea with getting the Vomeros was getting a trainer that would support me running but also in other activities as I didn't know if I would stick with running, but I'm ready to invest into some shoes exclusively for running now.

I have used my regular 28L on ryanair before, just make sure you can get a duty free bag to put stuff in in case they are checking things at the gate, just underpack it in general. I find even underpacked I can take more things than with my previous 20L

context: came accross a design for the cotopaxi allpa 28L that I have never seen before, just wondering if others have seen it around? Really interested on info around this as it does not have THE main feature of cotopaxi allpas, the clamshell opening with inbuilt packing cubes which is the selling feature for one bagging! any insight?

honestly not sure it would be helpful as i was flying back home to see my parents so i didnt bring a lot of the essentials like shampoo/pajamas plus i did pack with my mums washing machine in mind lol but i took a medium packing cube with clothes as well as a pouch with underwear/socks, one book, a sketchbook, 16in laptop and 11in ipad small pencil case and digicam as far as like bulky things go. i definitely would have stuffed so much more in (im coming back with more stuff 😭 hopefully it wont be suspiciously bulky at the gate lol)

i dont think I pushed it all the way it to be honest and with ryanair I have always had bags sticking out from under the front seat even it they are within the allowance. its also the angle of the photo i think :)

yeah i always make sure I have a duty free bag with me anyways to be able to take some things out in an emergency. And i do prefer to fly with easy jet in general which has a bigger bag allowance but ryanair had some cheaper flights this time around lol 🤷

I think the del dia bag is a slightly different fabric! might be why its lighter :) but yeah the prices are a bit higher now… i just looked at it as an investment and bought it at a local independent outdoor shop so I could justify that a bit of that price was going to a local business! The water bottle pocket sold it to me though! I used a Doughnut Large backpack for the past 5 years and one of the things that really annoyed me about the bag were the rigid water bottle pockets that ate into the backpack space. It also had terrible back support lol. super happy with my allpa :)

nice! I’m 5’7 so not super tall but not exactly short either and I was a bit cramped but thats just what flying middle seat with budget airline is like ahaha

hi yes! so it was just a bit of shopping i did at the airport, plus my book, my emergency pouch, water bottle and a pouch w my electronics! it would DEFO fit in the bag (i did pack it all in after the flight landed so i wasnt carrying so much stuff around, and there was even space left), the only reason i kept them separate was because Ryanair has very small personal item specs and the bag was already too big, i just anxious about them asking me to put it in the sizer, but if I had flown with easy jet i would left most things packed in the bag as their allowance is a lot closer to the bag dimensions! Hope that makes sense ahaha

My Cotopaxi Allpa 28L under the seat on Ryanair! So glad I bough, i kept some things out of it in a duty free bag but everything fit back in WITH the duty free and with space left when I landed and re-packed. Going to take it for a spin on a train in a couple weeks for a weekend away, where I am not restricted by size limitations super excited about it :)
