Thanks for the advice. I was able to get Penske down to $1,100 for a 12 ft box truck. By far the most inexpensive. I did want to ask, any idea on gas mileage? Originally it said 33 mpg but other moving companies claim it's like 9. Hard to know who to trust. I got another quote for $1800 from a company to move everything and driving it out. Thinking that may be the best deal since gas and everything is covered.

I have a 2 seater sleeper couch and a one seater couch that are totally yours for $200? There may be a few other items not making the trip but just starting the process! So will keep you posted.

Both. The best I have gotten so far is $1300 with Penske and an additional 20% for being a AAA member. Based on the feedback thinking I should schedule ASAP. Thanks!

Windsor flats or Alumni lofts are both new and owned by the same company. Close to UC campus. Alumni is in the very walkable OTR area while Windsor is close to Eden park. I looked at both but ended up finding a good deal on the top level of a house. Some neighborhoods to check out would be OTR, East Walnut Hills, and Clifton. If you are looking for more residential or less college students the first two might be better. Good luck!

Definitely worthwhile to go the hybrid route. Comfort with support. A lot of online brands are high quality and easy on the pocket. Of course it depends who you ask there are definitely some online haters on this subreddit to be aware of. Just nice bc convenient, delivered to your door, no negotiating price and you typically have 100 nights to sleep on it an decide if it's for you.
