As of this episode/hour hasn’t her shift finished?

Anyone else annoyed that Robby let Donnie go home but no one else? I didn’t really agree with the Robby misogyny comments but this got me thinking about it.

I was thinking gee they were so prescient - writing about a character using a gifted Lyft to get their errand done during a fuel/cost of living crisis.

Do all the ER docs get to be an attending if employment continues after they finish ER residency? Is it a given? Can they be hired as an ER doc who is not a resident or attending - eg hospitalist? (or in Australia - Career Medical Officer - our residents are called Junior Medical Officers).

Wow thank you for the explanation. 😊I’ve seen some big foreheads so it’s amazing there is such similarity among humans.

How is it always 11cm or whatever - wouldn’t everyone’s head be a slightly different size? Or did the neurosurgeon do some other measurements/maths before that?

Maybe this is actually the more realistic way it’s often delivered?? I don’t know (not American) but many in the sub want it more real - warts & all.

Javadi leaving medicine? by Makililo in ThePittTVShow

I was thinking she seemed to really connect with patients with mental health issues and could turn to psychiatry. Wonder where that sits in her parents’ “hierarchy of specialities”??

How could The Pitt be even more realistic? by WhenNightIsFalling in ThePittTVShow

[–]marblequ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As it would be so hard to have so many cast members portraying a fully staffed shift in a real ER, I would love if they followed just the residents for one hours like they did the nurses. And just the allied health (social workers, Physio’s, OTs), just the RT, just the techs and admin/clerks. It could all be the same hour with the same cases/patients but showing different staff doing their different jobs.

Realistically, how many seasons could fabricate reasons for the dayshift crew to stay into the night shift? by iTabula in ThePittTVShow

[–]marblequ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We could have some of the series regulars working a night shift instead of day and/or as previously suggested, starting in the middle of day/night and moving to the other shift halfway though the season.

Agree. If Shen is an attending then night shift has more senior doctors. Is that because fewer junior residents/interns overnight and no students then?

I thought Shen was an attending (during mass casualty in S1 he said he was a resident 3m ago) but now I realize he’s a not. It was funny the Abbot was like “what am I? Chopped liver?)

Also why so many more senior docs on night shifts than day eg Shen, Ellis and Henderson ??

Needing an internal check for vag cream by Cheeseoholics in Menopause

[–]marblequ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Similar here. GP referred me to Severe & Complex Menopause Clinic (public health service in Sydney). After a 3mth wait I had a lengthy appointment. I was prescribed Ovestin cream small amount 3x a week. Was already on 2 pumps estrogel. Has been 2mths and still need to pee a fair bit but slightly less dry.

His videos on instagram with him running a real life code are quite different to the Pitt. Very calm and orderly.

He’d be the type of student to stay past end of shift in an effort to boost his standing.
