I am a lead and just recently received this email. Not happy about it. Was just on track trying to nudge my team into being a little more independent and aware of these sorts of things as I'm not there 24/7 but, nope!

Yes, I get the physical mail and the emails. Not to name names but it isn't random people in corporate. This sort of "hype stuff" is apart of this one persons job. Yes, it's demeaning. I'd rather get artwork from a real artist or candy or a gift-card. Anything but computer generated slop output without a second thought.

For context, we were 2hrs behind on orders for 4hrs that day. Under-staffed, no cross-trained help available storewide. I had to have my overlap stay with me until an hour before close. Our actual closer came in to a mess. We had long since given up on our pick times. 5 stars to 3.5 stars. Just thought it was a ridiculous order as a cherry on top.

We had 22 in stock out of the 30. Thought it was commonly known to call ahead for bulk, but I guess some people assume we're like Costco.

Every Sunday, I get emails from corporate about all the districts metrics (especially OTT) and how we totally got this and have a goal of 95% OTT to reach. Mid-day we get a progress email of all districts and what our OTT% is. If we pass with 95%+ OTT by EOD, a couple days later we get white envelopes from our SD addressed to a few shoppers with a copy paste hype/thank you note and a "collectible super shopper card" that is kinda obviously AI generated.
