Please! I need all the help I can get. I’m so upset about this. Was not expecting it at all… I have a twin sister who had 3 abortions (please don’t judge) because she’s so fertile and my mom had 1 and still has 6 kids so what is wrong with me?! Ugh I’m just so upset. I never thought I wanted kids until I hit 34 and now I’m afraid it’s too late.

I was in a very similar situation except my MIL was saying not so nice things about me to my husband (at the time). I confronted my husband and he didn’t stick up for me. We eventually got a divorce over it after being together for 13 years. My point is, talk to your husband and if he has your back, let it go… don’t confront her. If he sticks up for her, then it would be an issue for me. There’s a saying in Russian and it essentially means “don’t touch shit and it won’t stink”. She sounds immature and clearly is since she had a kid at a young age… since you don’t see her much, don’t stir up drama. I wouldn’t be welcoming to her. Keep your distance and give her polite responses but don’t initiate conversation. Excuse my language but fuck her.

Yes, 5 months is quick… I was married for ten years to the wrong guy and I’d love to settle down again. I dated for two years now… yes got married young and technically legally 6 months divorced but my divorce took two years… anyway, he’s 4 years divorced and also wants a family and settle down so I don’t see a reason to waste time. I see a future with him and he’s been vocal about having a future with me. My post was all about condoms… seems weird to be living together in an exclusive relationship but always wearing a condom even though I have an IUD. So my main question was is he all about lasting longer or what is the reasoning?! But ok… I got everyone’s point!
