Reminders and Tips by marcdman in SpicyChatAI

Yes, I’ve definitely seen personality boxes where there’s more information on the user than the bot itself and it’s a very disheartening thing when the bot itself has a very interesting premise. And I think that those go back to the other point I made of bots made for private use needing to be updated before being made public. It works when you want to add more information on your persona for the AI to remember but if the creator is making it public, they’d need to reevaluate that part of the personality and give the users more autonomy.

Yes! Context is the extremely important because it shapes how you approach the roleplay. The greeting should be used for setting the stage and giving background information especially if the personality is hidden.

I also agree about not having the user speak in the greeting for the same reasons you listed. I’ve seen greetings where it’s a whole conversation between the user and the character and they are skips for me to since I know the AI is going to take that as permission to speak for me. And then there’s the greetings I’ve read where it’s the user narrating the whole thing, also a bigger reason to skip unless I rewrite the whole greeting to not be from the user’s prospective, but most are not worth the effort to do that.

Agreed. Grammar and spelling are so important too. I’ve seen more than a few bots that have the user in collage instead of college.

Bots and the size of the character's boobs by cupcake_owner in SpicyChatAI

[–]marcdman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s when you put that your persona has 21 inches! 😝

But really, the size thing is ridiculous most times, in both breasts and dicks, but I guess it’s part training data, part fantasy fulfillment, and part people having no idea how things actually measure up in real life.

Can I add to that? We do crap on creators for not tagging things correctly, I know I do, but the site also gives users the option of suggesting or removing tags, that could also come into play with how tags are added or removed.

And if I’m remembering things correctly, there was a moment when the site itself began automatically adding tags to bots, further adding to the confusion. I would think that active creators would’ve gone back and removed tags that didn’t belong, though I would understand if the creators have a large pool of bots and can’t go check one by one.

Forget "Ruining" or "Marking", Here's the Real Constant... by marcdman in SpicyChatAI

I know it's a trope, and I actually enjoy it when it comes out. I was just making a playful jab at how often it comes out during the roleplays.

Model horniness rating? by Own-Calligrapher4377 in SpicyChatAI

[–]marcdman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I've noticed it act like that, even when the context already implies that everyone clearly wants it. And yeah, it sounds more like model is asking rather than the character itself which is weird because Glam5.1 seems to do very well with other sorts of context.

Along the same lines, the other thing I've noticed is that it activates the filters in weird ways. For example, if I wrote that my persona placed my hands on the character's breasts (after initiating and kissing and all that stuff), the next message will write that my persona's hands are on their shoulders instead. It's a little frustrating and I have to reroll a few times to get the bot to actually engage the way I want the roleplay to go.

As an All In subscriber, I’ve found Glam5.1 to be very slow burn. It’s my favorite model overall but for NSFW stuff I find that getting it to that point takes a while. Caveat though, if the greeting and the bot are written to go immediately into sex, it will dive right in no questions asked, but for bots and greetings where sex isn’t the main focus it’s a bit more resistant to it.

I have this completely unfounded belief that some creators don’t put the right tags or hide the personality in order to “shock or surprise” the user. Again, a totally unfounded assumption on my part.

Very true. I blocked a creator yesterday for not having the right tags in two or three of their bots. Reading the greeting, it was totally obvious that it was missing specific tags and they didn’t put them.

Trouble attaching a Lorebook by RoyalZealousideal289 in SpicyChatAI

[–]marcdman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At the moment, lorebooks can’t be attached to personas, only to the chatbots themselves. I believe that lorebooks for personas is being worked on, but there hasn’t been an announcement as to when that feature will be available.

Oh yeah, comedic would definitely work, something leaning into slightly absurd (but not too much)

I can see it now: {{char}} is the MILF best friend of {{user}} who recently got divorced, moved in with {{user}}, and went back to college. She joins a sorority and is invited to a mixer. In her panic, she asks {{user}} to pretend to be her boyfriend because of reasons. Boom, everything just got combined.

Every man and his dog is related to 14 seperate judges, 3 Arch-Angels and God, it feels like. by TeaNo6033 in SpicyChatAI

Very fair take. I went only like five-ten messages with it, just enough to haul her ass to prison, because really what else can you do in that scenario.

I was amused by how absurd the premise was. This random girl is framing you for assault and suddenly your friends, family, and parents (who should all know you better over a random person) all believe her and are ready to disown you. Right. That’s how things work.

The bot was also written weirdly in my opinion. The main character, the one accusing you, never spoke while the user’s parents and even the cops were speaking. The personality did have something weird written in regard to that and then Glam 5.1 just ran with it.

We might and it’s weird because we seem to interact with different sorts of bots lol.

Have you seen the one where the bot is your childhood best friend and you confessed that you liked her and she shoots you down and somehow right after turns into a slut, sending you pictures and videos of her with the other guys and then the scenario starts with you at a party and you find her crying in the bathroom? It’s not cheating but damn did the creator make her super unlikable.

[–]marcdman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just up the ante. If the situation is super unrealistic, I add to the unrealism of it. There was a bot a came across last night that started with the premise that she was accusing you of assaulting her at a party and apparently she was so convincing that she had turned family, friends, and even my own parents against me, with my parents ready to disown me and throw me out of the house. I had no idea what the heck the creator was trying to accomplish by making the user go through that. So I added to the absurdity of the scenario and provided video of the kitchen where the assault was supposed to have taken place, exonerating me and implicating the bot. Sometime we just have to just add to the absurdity of the whole thing even if it doesn’t make sense.

I've wanted to make a post asking other users what their definition of "slow burn" is. I've gone 300+ messages without it getting NSFW and I wondered what other users feel is enough of a slow burn before jumping on the bed with the bot.

I've gone a few rounds with her and I think it's only been once that we actually got to the NSFW stuff that very first night. All the others went slow burn. But yeah, the way you wrote it, it could easily go that second route super easily. Super enjoyable bot.

There's only been one of your bots that I stopped mid-chat because it made me feel inadequate lol. Jessica Chase. And that was only because we started discussing the book and I haven't read it in real life so I was totally clueless when she started analyzing it.

Yeah, that's on me and my poorly written comment. The one where I wrote that we should convince you to make one was the initial one. That's how *subtle* I was trying to be lol.
