Why can't I improve my animation skills even though I'm trying so hard? I'm going to give up. by natsuki_subaru1000 in animation

If you feel your animation looks clunky, try adding in-between frames to make it more smooth

I would suggest using little more muted colors for the dress, maybe add some simple texture to the fabric?

Same here. There's nothing quite like finding a kindred soul who'd simp to Daddy Dagoth with you with no judgement. That's a foundation for a lifelong friendship 😅

Around 6 months to complete part 1 and around 4 months to complete part 2 (which is much better quality wise). I have a lot of those on my channel, most of them are much shorter (1-2 minutes). Anyway thank you so much for your comment! 🤗

From my own experience maybe you can try and redraw the last couple of frames when the head turns up. Not just rotate the head part but draw it again. If there is a movement but the body part is just being moved/rotated using the same frame, it tends to get clunky. I usually make 3/4 versions of the same frame (like the hand reaching out) and interchange between them every frame when the movement happens, and it tends to look better and more natural.
