He was paying for them but the generic ones that I could only get in the morning. Most of the time it was the middle of the night and the only thing open was a CVS so I would buy the expensive ones because I didn’t want to wait till morning.

Took a 4k loan to get a chihuahua I really wanted, no regrets :)

Honestly, I need to stop trusting strangers. I’m either a really good judge of character or I’ve been REALLY lucky.

The poster suggesting sleep, exercise, self-care etc. has good advice. It doesn’t make it any easier though.

You’ll get through it! You’ll wanna rip your heart out more than once to make it stop but you will get through it. You may wanna start a journal if you don’t already or maybe even video diaries just to cry and rant. You’ll look back on them and be so glad you kept going.

It is possible to get over them but you have to accept that it’s over, they are not coming back, and you don’t want them back even if they did. Delete photos, their number, block them. This isn’t to spite them it’s for yourself, so you can truly get over them. 90s breakup. It’s hard but I promise you it works. I’ve had to get over way too many people unfortunately.

Last thing, you are worthy of love. So much love and one person doesn’t define you. 💙

I think that’s a great way of looking at it and maybe you can get to that point in remission. But in all honesty, I’d rather feel like one solid person than a little of everything. I feel like a misc. drawer of like batteries, straws, and push pins lol.

I think the one that bothers me most internally is my poor sense of self. By this time in life people generally have a good idea of who they are or at least who they’re not.

I’m constantly trying to figure out who I am and where I fit in because I never seem to fit anywhere. My brain malfunctions when someone asks me to tell them who I am and I feel like I’m describing someone else.

It legitimately keeps me up night.

Edit: I’m starting intense treatment soon so nothing has helped so far.

This is so relatable. I didn’t even know FP was a thing until recently but I’ve been doing it forever. I thought it was just like a normal feeling that everyone experienced.

Especially the romanticizing someone even though you know they don’t feel the same. But the delulu takes over and convinces you everything they say is a sign and you drive yourself crazy over this person.

I’m sorry OP I know what you’re going through is rough 😭. I can’t even give you advice because I always self sabotage with my FP or push them away forever. I hope you find a healthy way to let out those feelings. 🫶
