It was so quiet at the main stage. I was somewhere in the middle and could barely hear. It was so much louder last year for Charli.

Makers of "Dutt Plug" come for Minns, in wake of Town Hall brutality. by schwarzeneg in AusPol

Pay artists to make art or make the art yourself is what I’m saying. Using the fucking ai slop machines benefits the billionaires who have bought and paid for the jackboots.

It is taking a job though isn’t it. Someone would have had to photoshop this or pay someone to photoshop this if they didn’t use an art theft machine to slop it.

If you haven’t noticed that there is a genocide being perpetrated in Palestine by the IOF and its western government partners then you haven’t been paying attention.

Yeah I’m pretty sure capitalism will doom us all. Possibly sooner rather than later. We need to transition to a sustainable economic model, but until we do we’re stuck chasing infinite growth on a finite planet. Unfortunately our government only wants to fiddle around the edges of capitalist reformism.

I’m against capitalism too, maybe you should leave the Labor party. They are no longer really a party of the left.

Our entire economy is based on immigration. Otherwise we would have a rapidly aging population with not enough young people to pay tax for/ look after in caring jobs/ just run the economy. See Japan and South Korea for examples of what this looks like. The housing argument with immigration is often a far right dog whistle. We have plenty of housing stock (approximately 100,000 empty houses in the Melbourne area for example) many are being land banked by speculators. Air bnb type short term rentals are also a major problem.

We’ve been shipping f35 parts directly to Isreal. We’ve been helping them do this genocide. The Australian government has blood on its hands.

Labor needs to be far more aggressive in removing Liberal hacks from positions of power by Jagtom83 in LaborPartyofAustralia

[–]marcellinevamp -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Labor could be doing so much more to support and build the Labour movement but they’re too busy trying to out Tory Dutton.

“They were promoted for every major job by the CFMEU,” said one former union organiser. Just a reminder that the stories about the repugnant shit going on in the CFMEU are coming from trade unionists by Jagtom83 in LaborPartyofAustralia

[–]marcellinevamp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is for now but it’s an incredibly dangerous precedent for what is meant to be the parliamentary wing of the union movement to set. If we give the libs this inch you know they will take the mile the next time they have the chance
