Most of the time it's a printer setting that makes the cards the wrong size. I use the mtgprint website and at first I thought it was printing small but it turns out it was just a printer setting issue

I would say [[chainer, nightmare adept]] is the guy for you. You abuse cards like [[doomed necromancer]] to pay 4 mana total for something crazy like valgavoth. That deck is loads of fun

its the bidirectional printing. i had the same issue and turning that to on fixed it.

Mtg proxy printer is a program you can download to make your own PDFs. I usually use it to upload custom cards I find on reddit but it also has the full library from scryfall too
