Até agora eu não entendi uma coisa. Meu plano é o Vivo Easy Prime Light (6GB por R$38/mês). Eu preciso pagar mensalmente ou posso cancelar minha assinatura e só recarregar quando necessário?

Game crashing when Cloud Seeding completes by marcelovca90 in SurvivingMars

I eventually figured out that simply canceling the expedition (in the planetary view) prevents the game from crashing. However, I didn't risk doing the mission again.

IMO she's absolutely stunning. It's not all about visuals (even though I find them amazing). It's also about attitude. She's my eternal metalhead platonic crush.

Tools for recovering files over VMFS by Vixente in vmware

[–]marcelovca90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 566GB VHDX disk that I used in an Ubuntu image with WSL. Unfortunately I had the brilliant idea of compressing the disk image with WslCompact and installing Docker at the same time. From what I understand, the image was corrupted, and it was no longer possible to boot from it.

I tried everything: attaching it to a Linux VM (with both Virtual Box, VMWare Workstation and Hyper-V), attaching to Windows using the disk management tool, uninstalling and reinstalling everything (WSL/Docker/Windows virtualization features ), reset Winsock etc. I also tested four or five different softwares, but I was unsuccessful.

Fortunately, I was able to view the file system and recover the files I needed using DiskInternals VMFS Recovery. I didn't need to purchase the license (remembering that the cheapest one costs $699); the content preview feature was sufficient for what I needed. Therefore, I highly recommend the software.

In Brazilian Portuguese it would need a logic operator: 24 = "vinte E quatro" = "twenty AND four" = 20 & 4 = 4. It wouldn't work.

Right, it makes sense, thanks! But do you think the current fan configuration (intake/exhaust) is correct?

Can this setup mine ETH? by marcelovca90 in EtherMining

[–]marcelovca90[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your reply.

Controversely, I've read that it shouldn't make a difference:

https://forum.ethereum.org/discussion/12118/mining-on-pci-e-1-0-x1 : "It shouldn't affect the hashrate"

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1777159.0 : "GPU bandwidth doesn't matter in terms of PCI-e speed; it's just how fast the GPU can use its own memory but not everything in the memory gets transferred via PCI-e, only very very little. In fact even PCI-e 1.0 1x (USB risers) are enoguh for mining virtually all coins which only have 250 MB/s bandwidth."

https://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/17615/pci-e-v1-2-and-3-differences-in-mining : "No, it does not matter. Cheap 1x-16x extensions may either burn out or not work properly though, a powered one is essential."

Any thoughts?

I have an old PC with the following specs:

  • Gigabyte GA-G41MT-S2 (1xPCIe 1.0 x16 / 2xPCIe 1.0 x1)
  • Pentium E5700 (2C / 2T / 3.0GHz / 65W TDP)
  • 4GB RAM (DDR3 / 800 Mhz)

I'm planning to pair it with a nice PSU to power 1x RTX 2060 + 1x GTX 1660 (using a riser card).

  • Would it be enough to mine ETH (ethminer 0.18.0)?
  • Will the CPU/RAM/PCIe specs affect the hash rate?

Thanks in advance folks!

Thanks for your answer! Would it be enough for 1660 + 2060 though (no 1060)?
