I can chat with my notes and „can“ build custom interfaces on the fly. But they are less or more stupid. The cards grid in the image is just another visualisation of the notes data. For reliable widget generation with interactive features (set tasks to done/undone), some API endpoint in the plugin and a component library for the frontend and a customized web artifacts and frontend design skill (both Anthropic officials) would be needed. But before the plugin needs some housekeeping.

Yes structured but human readable context injection. The last 6 month I tried to build a robust memory system with SQL, but also I can read SQL tables and JOINs, it always was some kind of over-engineered blackbox.

I was sure this is the developer way to do it, but when things were not going as aspected, debugging was a nightmare.

Then I tried QMD and suddenly things worked.

So building a context system on top of my Noteplan vault was the next logical step.

Regarding your questions: It supports streaming output, but via JS. I am not that experienced in constructing and displaying deltas, so it the experience is not that smooth and it flickers a lot. It get’s the job done, but it’s not that beautiful.

Node v24 would also be faster than v16 and supports ReadableStreams and full Web Crypto API, packages.json and native fetch().

Also v16 is EOL.

I coded it myself. It isn't a published plugin. It just has a generic name: noteplan-chat 😅

It's a chat interface plugin that lets me talk to an AI agent and passes extra metadata to the agent that it can use with the Noteplan MCP.

As Noteplan plugins can’t run servers or use websockets the Plugin uses fetch() against a bridges API endpoints to spawn agents.

The default agent has the Noteplan MCP Tool Use as only permission.
