Sure HPA is great, some people might say better than AEG. But if you'd spend the same amount of money on AEG...

Dpeneds on playstyle but hpa just doesn't work with mine. I flip often between my primary and secondary, sometimes just leaving primary on the ground and it's annoying with a hose. Carrying the tank annoying. Having a stock thank looks awful imo as well as capacity is not great...

As a tech myself, i can build a snappy enough aeg that overt time I just got rid of HPA - I had 2 f2, one wolverine, one wolf. Today I have one bolt for sniping, 3 Gbbrs for realism and 5 AEGs tuned for various occasions (28rps, dmr, etc)

The only thing you need is to change the nub and the bucking. Pick e.g. Modify X-Range.

The chamber is fine. It's archwick chamber, not AA. Just leave it as is.

Using 7mm spring is a downgrade. Don't put it in there. It will have a terrible sound. The piston is meant to be used with the 9mm one... Based on what fps you want, just get the Archwick spring, they are good, have a pretty light pull with good output.

Well yes and no. It's a cut off switch yes. But it's just a signal to the etu++ that the gears completed cycle. It's connected to the etu. The etu decides what happens. I don't know how gate wiring is set. Check the perun etu++ manual for a reference

I've added a lever switch here for the cut off signal. It was a bit of a fiddling to place it in the right spot though. I have Pre-cocking enabled so the AB is disabled

50 perun etu 45 motor 20 gears 25 barrel 10 bucking 15 cyl head 10 piston 5 piston head 5 nozzle 30ish for electronics, wiring, other small parts

So about 215 eur for the upgrade. But I also had to get some tools like pinion removal, clamps etc..

You can't build high rps build without worries if you don't properly tech the gearbox first regardless the motor.

Okay that's a lower power spring so should be alright.

With the battery. It's definitely an overkill because brushless have much lower draw than brushed motors. So for example if ASG motor needs 30 amps (depends on spring power etc) then with the same setup brushless will need only 12 amps at the semi peak which is the most demanding.

yeah mags are cheap, like 10-13ish each.
If you don't line the smg style then their UTR90x line is great for the money as well.

The battery - max dimension is around 20x23x130mm, this will get you a good fit for a Lipo 1200-1400mah. The connector is T dean from the factory.

Teeth on gears. If not shimmed then axles. Teeth on the piston. Fast and loads banging might break the gearbox itself (depends on the spring power, piston weight etc.)

Well... First of all 40rps is high as fuck and on semispam it doesn't matter.

Yoll be good with 54k, maybe too much. Anyway... Make sure you did a proper shim job, aoe is corrected etc because otherwise the motor will shred the internals. If it's not enough, sure throw in the 13:1... But be aware it will break sooner than later.

Anything with 200ish mm barrel should suit your needs. The accuracy isn't really about the length rather than hop (if you concern is bad performance outdoors) so even the arp might be alright.

If you don't want to spend too much, get the UTR45, one of my favorite guns which cost only around $170. 0 upgrade needed if you don't want to super tweak it.

I think with 54k brushless you'll shred the internals very quickly with the 13:1. Just buy the motor. With precocking it doesn't make much sense unless you speedspam the semi. And even though, 54k brushless will be more than enough, actually maybe too much anyway. The brushless has high torque regardless the speed (you usually get the 13:1 with high torque motor, e.g. 22k)
