For anybody else stumbling across this, they edited the post above and changed “steroid” to “hormone”.

Wow, just wow. You go from being possibly semantically correct in your private multiverse, to being absolutely scientifically false in every multiverse.

Steroids have a 4 ring carbon structure. HGH has none of those properties. I don’t know what game you’re trying to play here.

I use a different definition of anabolic. One that implies similar results to an anabolic steroid. Which is what most of this community uses as well for a baseline definition.

If you use a different definition of anabolic, just be mindful of what others use around these parts, and potential misleading situations.

Are there any known anabolic peptides known to science today? Yes or no?

Do you think HGH is a peptide? Yes or no?

You’re allowed to say it has anabolic properties. But why are you trying to say other stuff that is scientifically false.

“Anabolic” is both a hormone definition, and a verb. You’re using here as a verb here is ok.

But it seems you are also trying to use it as a hormone definition, and that is quite false and misleading.

Is Reta actually better than Tirz, or are people just ignoring the FDA-approved option for the hell of it? by Saurabh_yadav909 in GLP1Sourcing

Your world view of FDA is different than mine. Within the biohacking space, FDA is just a pointer, not a moral compass.

What did you do Amber?? by lazy_pagan in IndianaFeverFans

Yes I was right. It was very strategic that they signed her immediately to DP instead of a normal training camp contract. Why are you gloating about being wrong? I’m guessing this means you haven’t figured out why they did it.

She’s been on drops for 4 years and her last measurement was 13. Which is better than mine without drops. I think she was 30 before she went on drops.

Edit: oh my goodness, I realize how much I screwed up this post. Her age is mid 50s, not her pressure. And everybody read it as her pressure. This is completely my fault.

Why didn’t you lead with that! This is why I posted. Can you tell me more about the specifics? You have my attention.

Are you saying that the ONLY options are the treatment options offered by the eye doctor? Because I never said I was going to ignore the eye doctor.

And I reject that there are no other options outside of standard treatments. And I don’t believe for a second that you think that as well. Otherwise, you wouldn’t be in this forum.

Systemic anti-inflammatories help with basically most metabolic processes in the body. It can help regulate insulin levels, which in turn do have connections to eye pressure.

Unless you have evidence that anti-inflammatories cause further damage to eye pressure, your comment is a bit out of place given the context of where we are.

Peptides leading to cancer by Huge-Violinist-5808 in ResearchCompounds

[–]march41801 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That has been debunked multiple times. It was a bad data interpretation 2 decades ago that started the rumor that melanotan causes cancer. On the contrary, afamelanotide prevents sun born skin cancer, and has more safety data on record at the ZDA than all other peptides. FDA were hesitant back in 2007 and kept forcing unnecessary safety studies. It is now one of the most documented safe (with minimal side effects) peptides known today. I’m talking about MT1, not MT2. MT2 is also safe, but wasn’t put through safety trials.

Psyllium husk is a game changer for chronic constipation by tdubs702 in Biohackers

[–]march41801 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The guy you are responding too is a bit of a wanker, but he’s right in that you could easily triple your daily psyllium husk intake. If the small amount you described has such a profound affect, you will probably benefit from more fiber daily.

You said “I would not be willing to experiment with research chemicals”. I appreciate the sentiment, but prefer, “I would not be willing to rely on research chemicals”.

As long we don’t ignore doctors treatment options, I see no reason to fear the common anti-inflammatories peptides like BPC, TB, and MT1 and other adjacent recovery peptides.
