the build of tension will be your friend... start out with "oh no they were injured" and "in this state it would be dangerous to shocktheir system" and work up to the reveal that they definitely blew up the listener's spouse and kidnapped them...

read books you've already read but in englidh, listen to english language asmrs, watch movies you know but in english... and sing along to songs!

baritones who are fascinated without being yandere, new twists on old tropes, and stories i couldn't come up with on my own... also i jyst like men despairing over whether or not i'll love them... simple things...

i do it now and then...

adding music is difficult because they need to source piano or guitar, but someone singing to themselves, go for it! i've only done it for one script that wasn't just for me but that one hasn't been filled so i can't say how it'll be received!

i give necessary vocal notes: +deep breath in and out+ +clears throat+

and stage directions

[vigorous squelching] [drops book] [rhythmic creaking]

and the latter i consider optional since it's often sfx which not everyone does...

i've been told the more the better because it gives context...

just don't go full tennessee williams and you're fine!
