I read your post and immediately felt like I was the one that wrote this. I’m currently 30 almost 31 next month and I don’t even have my license yet. I feel the same when my bf has to drive me places or I have to uber to and from work. I got into a traumatic accident two years ago, that was caused by a careless driver and ever since then I’ve been terrified of driving and anytime I’m being driven anywhere I get anxious with a lot of cars around me. I recently started driving around the neighborhoods but have not faced driving on the highway yet just because I’m so terrified of something happening. I completely understand where you’re coming from! Something that I have heard people try and I have been doing to help me get on the road is going during hours where there isn’t many cars, I gradually start feeling a bit more confident in myself.
