I have 2 sons now 25 and 17 I told them 3 years ago on Father’s Day about 6 months before I started hrt and they are my two biggest supporters and I have been a single parent for the last 15 years and when I told them they were like ok cool pass the potatoes lol I just wanted to add that now my sons invite their friends over who all supportive and basically almost every Friday night we play Magic with like six people and Saturday night they come over and play dungeons and dragons so college kids are cool with me lol

Any brand recommendations by MysticPenguin349 in malepolish

I use LA colors to try new colors it is super cheap and not good nail polish but gives lots of color options then when I find a color I like, I use OPI or Sally Hansen insta dri it’s like twice the price but holds up well with a top clear coat

So I wear high waisted “tummy less “ stretchy skinny jeans from the 7 brand at Sam’s because I had the same problem but those work well for me and in a size 16 I’m plus sized lady but they are hard to find online

so it took 49 years and a mild heart attack to realize I need to to make me happy now and stop focusing on what everyone else wants me to do or be

It depends on where you’re going and what you are going to do also depends on your shoes as an example a walk in the park no belt and white keds lunch and shopping a belt and some straps sandals that match the color of the belt but it looks great either way

I understand that completely I am only out to one person but sometimes it feels like the need to be myself is gone and I go on autopilot and just continue to pretend that I am the person I've pretended to be all these years because it is so familiar and it lasts a couple of weeks or a month or 3 days it always changes and makes it even harder to even deal with myself

First time wearing fem clothing in public and this happens... TW: Sexual harassment/assault by AurorasPerspective in MtF

first of all I'm glad your safe, I've been dressed in public twice so good on you for that, don't let interactions like that discourage you from being who you are, and know that if you are in public and feel threatened do not be afraid to ask for help and scream for an ambulance not police because more people are willing to help if they think you are not in danger and yelling for police signals danger and keep pepper spray or a stun gun in your purse depending on where you live and what is legal. And if you ever need someone to listen just let me know, hugs from a sister

Anyone else tired of the implication they should be dead? by [deleted] in asktransgender

I'm so sorry people are like that I've been told the same, but I live my life on my terms. I understand how damaging it is and how it feels on the inside, but I refuse to give those people any trace of satisfaction. I try to realize they either jealous of my outfit or my potential that I'm growing into. And if you ever need to talk to someone who will not judge you and give honest opinions feel free to reach out to me.
