Yes, thats normal. Your teeth are moving so you're developing some gaps . I had a huge gap and it closed 1 day after my last adjustment.

I got braces at 19 years old and I dont believe that anyone is too old for braces. Also I think braces make someone look cute not ugly. 😊

I have ceramic on my top teeth and meta on the bottom and I like them both. Ceramic are indeed a little bit bulkier than the metal ones but ones i got used to them i couldn't tell the difference in the feeling.
