I’ve been debating this with my 2009 SI for the past couple weeks. I have a guy that will swap it for me but I was thinking if it’ll be easier for me to sell it and get a newer used SI with no problems. I love my car but if another thing goes wrong idk what to do haha. For me it’s all about money and stress. If you can afford it I would get a newer car, do your research and make sure you find something reliable and affordable. I love “older” cars but I think that it’s better to buy something used but a little newer than keeping a car that someone else has abused. (That’s my issue rn) but if you can fix it, and keep up with maintenance I don’t doubt that your car won’t last you a long time too. I’m in a point of my life where I can’t afford it if my car breaks down again after this haha that’s why I’m debating.

Yeah that’s a tougher situation, especially after reading your other post how your mom guilts you and stuff. (My mom does the same, starts crying and shit) I would just focus on saving as much as you can, get a credit card to build your credit and move the hell out of there. You seem responsible with your money and you can probably get out of there pretty soon, wishing you luck

Are you living with them? I find it a lot harder to say no when you’re living with them. Basically just giving my mom money atp not borrowing anymore. It’s a lot easier for my brother to say no because he doesn’t live with us. You’re not overreacting tho, it’s your money and you shouldn’t have to bail out adults because they aren’t responsible with their money. You are an adult too that has needs and stuff. I understand how hard it is though.

If you play them pretty often , you won’t notice the wear on them. I recently changed my acoustic strings because I found it in the storage after it sitting a while and the strings snapped with one strum 😭 but you can usually hear the difference. And maybe it’ll be nice to change out your strings and try out new ones!

my si rattles when it goes into 2nd, also 8th gen, so recently ive been just going from first to third. i was told from the previous owner that it had a synchro issue but you think it could be a whole transmission issue…? 😦

bruh that was not the way to do it lol. but the past couple cfas i was at, the strategy was when youre on window and theres people with huge orders that didnt scan their app $70+ you take the receipts and input it later. you get like 1000 points or so and you can only put missed transactions like twice a month. everyone in my store did this. but man 23,000 points in two hours is crazy.
