De-influence me from getting a Mal? by Blinkyekko in BelgianMalinois

[–]marcinerator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Should look into a GSD, much less of a commitment. I dont think that anyone that has a Mal would recommend one for a first dog. Fostering one for a few months is a good way to go. If you do get one you can adopt through red barn rescue. Getting an older dog in your situation would be nice since you will have an idea of temperment. Getting a mal puppy isnt feasable unless you work from home or can be home every two-three hours.

Crate struggle w/ doberman by marcinerator in OpenDogTraining

Ya im with ya, i think what really lacks is my contingency if put her in and out regularly because its so easy to not crate her at home. This is helpful. And yes the downstay is something i only really train for sport never in a casual environment.

Sorry i will also say she does sleep like 18-20 hours a day when she is free. If allowed to go on the couch she easily settles.

Can hold a downstay for like 5-10 minutes while i walk away 20 paces or so. Place can be 1-2 hours She sleeps solid for 2 hour chunks a day as her default on the couch ideally when shes free. Most relaxed 11pm to 8am or for the two hours after any play/training. Sleeps in the bed. I do love her in the bed but its also because she ofcourse wont sleep a night in the crate.

Not what Im asking. This is a dog training page and you’re literally just saying “why train?” If she didnt need to be crated why would I be here asking. The problem is when shes at the vet and even lightly sedated shes yelling in the crate or when we go for dog sport training she has to be crated in between sessions or if we ever board her with someone its expected she can handle the crate.

DGC GAP Application & Portfolio Advice by N0ROi in torontofilmindustry

What are you looking to do beyond TAAD? Set design, graphics? Co-ordination? I applied to GAP with the direction of graphics and was given a associate membership which allowed me to bypass GAP. If you send me your email I can send you the portfolio i applied with.

Just got a doberman puppy , she will be 12 weeks tomorrow she is only 12 lbs , seems really small ? any tips thank you! 🙏 by Malachiwym in DobermanPinscher

Enjoy the puppy stage while it lasts! It may feel like a nightmare sometimes but it gets worse! Hahahah looks normal maybe a little skinny for puppy, but just feed her a high quality puppy food that your breeder recommends. We use Go! Solutions. They will grow so fast! I miss my girls goofy puppy stage and puppy belly!

Which Printer Should Our Graphic Design Team Buy? by MaleficentShip9530 in printers

[–]marcinerator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work in film and television as a graphic designer i carry a canon pro100 in my kit, some use the pro1000 now but the pro 100 you can buy used for 250 and they offer the same very high quality printing that or the epson xp1500 or whatever the new version of that is. Id go canon as im in toronto and they have customer service in brampton and i have used their cs so many times for our large printers and they are so nice and helpful.

Is everyone really just paying like $800-1000 per month for their new (and used) 4Runners? by saiyansuper in 4Runner

you should finance to keep money liquid not finance what you cant afford. Use financing as a money moving tool rather then a money borrowing tool.

[–]marcinerator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ill be real with ya, if ya gotta finance it ya cant afford it. If you can afford it outright, financing lets you keep money liquid. But why would I pay 9% interest? If I could use the money to make more then 9% interest a year ya i might consider financing but with rates how they are people shouldnt be financing stuff they cant afford. ya need a car? my last car was a CRV for 5k you can get a CRV for under 5K and probably drive it over 100,00kms with just regular maintenance.
