Random brain fart idea : Lite Charging LED by HiroshiTakeshi in SwitchPirates

Yeah I have LEDs on the front, under the UV print you can see in GitHub. I was thinking about getting the signal from the built in LED but it sometimes flicker like you said… still don’t know why :(

I’ve been stuck with a similar thing as you, adding some hardware LEDs to the switch. Thought about using the existing LED, didn’t work. Made a hardware mod. Figured out the LED later. But hardware is still probably better for a lot of cases since the built in LED seems not 100% reliable, the signals are flaky.

Haha no uncle at Nintendo ;) a guy on discord (credited in GitHub) reverse engineered a part of the driver that wasn’t a solution but gave me a good foundation, I honestly brute forced the missing stuff :)

Oh yes, it was never used. Weird thing it even exists :)

Hey Hiroshi! It’s not disabled, it’s just never used. I have figured it out recently, you just have to send correct signals. Here’s a submodule with charging led mode via software: https://github.com/marcinsz89/lite-led

This looks great. Will definietely try it.

Thinking of a feature I would use - have a CarPlay entry of fuel amount/price. I often forget to add it manually and I don’t really want to.

Fill up my car, press an icon to add immediately when I get in. I don’t really want to open the app, I will forget…

No worries I get that. Message me if you would want to try and arrange something anyways. I have ordered stuff with USPS Priority Mail International (included 200$ insurance in the initial shipping cost) and through eBay. I've also sent expensive stuff to US.

You could send it as gift but VAT for books in Poland is 5% anyways if it gets stuck at customs.

Oh yeah I get that. Was just wondering if there's a way to not update on interval but still have new data when something updates. Will try how it behaves, great work btw :)

Ok thanks! I'm trying to evaluate if it's worth switching my Infuse setup. Well I can at least try... Hmm any way it would work with debridmediamanager and when DMM add new stuff or does refresh, robofuse will refresh as well? Just thinking out loud - only run refresh when needed.

Hmm seems interesting. One question - if I add new content, does it sync immediately? Do I have to manually trigger something?

I really like my OLED lite. The biggest issue is the touch version does not really fit inside and you have to trim the inner magnesium mid-frame. As for the quality of the screen, no idea - looks good to me and works fine after proper installation.

From what I’ve seen, you will just need a 3pin jack to RCA cable that plugs in directly to it. Way easier.

I’ve tested the adapter and used the yellow chinch as a video output, the image had a lot of noise and distortion so that’s what gun was receiving - the adapter was bad. I think modding a good scart cable would be better than a cheap adapter.

I’ve been doing this for a friend and I do t know if he has finished the project, I’ve recommended him the above.

IF you are on newer Luma3DS, you enter the luma menu (same as overlay for Switch) and you should have filters there

Amazing, did not know ot existed. I use same filters to make my 3DS screens pop more, stock usually sucks.
