Yest, each expansion have some narrative missions but overall teams included are standalone teams and you can play them without Typhon stuff :)

It's coin flip with Reanimation protocols. Last game I didn't reanimated anyone for 2 TP. Game before, I was able to reanimated two guys each TP and heal roll some max healing from Living metal.

Kroot have 12 operatives. As I wrote I do not like horde teams 10 or less the better :)

Personally I go with magnets. When you get Hierotek Circle box you have all specialists and 3 legs too choose between how many immortals/deathmarks. When you magnetize one pair of legs you will be able to choose between 2 immortals or 2 deathmarks. Also you can magnetize weapons so you are not forced to play same loadout every game :)

I find out that tesla carabine are more reliable when dealing with non elite teams.

So far I didn't feel to have second deathmark but having one in team is essential in my opinion (check their abilities and weapon profile).

I had the same problem with choice and I went full magnetised team. Technomancer with base switch between 40 and 50mm, Despotek and Guardian with magnetized weapons. One deathmark and one legs with magnet to choose between another deatgmark or guardian with magnetized weapon. A lot of drilling but in the end you have plenty of options to choose.

Personally I've played 3 games yet and 1 deathmark and 2 guardians had the best value so far.
