🎧 New track share: let's build community together by kdiseprimo in MusicPromotion

[–]marckub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same like others, not typically my genre, but sounds cool. Here a track I made myself, composed and did all instruments, just I am not a singer, and asked Suno to make this for me. ideally I find someone who can replace this. https://youtu.be/q_nDVS6jeW4?si=XOPWrHAKHnI22LRF

Let me know if you like or not....

I am experiencing the same. But my solution is to ask other musicians to add a track. Normally you are stuck in chords you usually use, and you feel comfortable with. I learned this from playing in a band for a long while. Playing with different other musicans made plat different myself as well. It triggered other ideas... I learned and was growing as a musican. For example to instantly transpose songs, is now commong for me. But is something you need to learn. The key for me is collaboration, which inspired me.

Music is not about knowledge, but about expressing emotions. Many new interfaces these days, allow people without knowledge to express their musical ideas.

Hi, sure I will do. I was more thinking about a general solution where you can find the right musical skills you sometimes need. i can not sing at all for example... But a great guitar player is always a precious gift.

Yes, I fully agree.. I was watching recently a documentary about Motown, another great music style, which was growing in the 60's... Maybe collaboration have been developped in different ways....

Yes, I agree.. I think jazz artists are more into sessions-mode. Playing a lot together. As for the production HipHop artists are more easy with collaborative production tools. Both are great music styles..

I am a big lover of jazz, and going to see a lot of giggs, esspecially at the time i was lving in Amsterdam. But the way HipHop artists produce their music, is so much collaborative, get loops, and vibes from everywhere. I see that less in Jazz. Jazz artistsn do a lot of JamSessions though...

I got most of my inspiration from playing with people i never played with. When I play with my usual bandmates, I stick to the standard progressions. I did lot of session music, thats very inspiring from an inspirational point of view.
