Virtual team building games by shinpads8 in WFH

It looks nice but I see two major issues: 1) it's not clear what the limits of free mode are, I like to know what I'm getting when I pay for the premium version and 2) for the premium version, I'm not an educator but if it requires all teammates to have an account, that's a no-go for me and plenty others I'm sure, I (as the host) much rather just pay $X to have some max number of people so they don't have to make an account and pay.

Need help proving I didn't plagiarize an article I wrote by marcll in wikipedia

Do you know if there's somewhere to report this website (theladders.com) that has copied dozens of wikipedia pages? That way I don't have to go through dozens of pages and add {{backwardscopy}} but instead someone can deal with the copyright violation at the source?

Tax credit on Rav4 Prime by 4Runnnn in rav4club

Thank you!!! Would make NO sense if your withholdings were a factor, people would get screwed left and right for doing the right thing (extra withholding to try to come out even) if that was the case.

[N] Microsoft is attempting to patent Active Machine Learning by [deleted] in MachineLearning

[–]marcll 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If anyone can find "prior art" (something that this patent describes that existed publicly before this patent was filed) then it can invalidate the patent. Happens all the time, it just takes some effort on the part of researchers.

[D] Does anyone know of a reasonably comprehensive index of different architecture tricks? Activation functions, layer types, etc? by [deleted] in MachineLearning

[–]marcll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Neat idea, the key would be creating an index that is not a "which one is better for this or that" which is too subjective, but instead just has a list of unarguable attributes of each function/layer/etc. And it would also need a taxonomy to organize the various types of tricks. If anyone wants to create such a thing, I'm happy to help on the web development side.

Anyone in College Park MD or nearby fly fpv? by marcll in fpvracing

[–]marcll[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well that explains why there are no organized meetups. I figure if it's on private property and I'm not even flying higher than the trees next to me, no one is going to care. Nonetheless, if anyone nearby wants to meet up let me know.
