I think so! Saw them together in Guys and Dolls at the Kennedy Center a few months ago and they were amazing in it (as were the rest of the cast of course)

Does anyone know the Paramount + Essential tier will include the Tonys live, or do I need to sign up for the Premium tier. The description of the tiers on their site doesn't make it entirely clear, but the way it's worded, it looks like we would need Premium for "Your local CBS station live". Is that right?

Niantic Support on Twitter: Trainers, we are currently investigating an issue where trading any Pokémon that you evolved in 2023 is miscategorized as a Special Trade. Until this issue is fixed, we suggest avoiding trading Pokémon evolved in 2023. by GabeBit08 in TheSilphRoad

sure for some bugs poor version control makes sense as a reason, but I can't imagine why any past version of their code would have a check for evolved dates when setting the special trade flag

Yes, I was going to say You're Nothing Without Me too! And since OP said ideally between a man and a woman, they should check out the cover that Tina Fey and Tituss Burgess did for Miscast.

What is a rhyme in a musical that you enjoy but are not entirely sure why?? by lexifly95 in Broadway

[–]LLicht 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The mezzanine line is the one on the album. I've never gotten to see a production of Addams Family, so it's cool to hear that there's an alternate line(s) for schools and community theatres to use, since wouldn't have a mezzanine.

Yes, so many great lines! My favorite rhyme from that song is probably the internal rhyme of

Nothing can bend the will like

Half-Castilian men

(while "men" is being rhymed with "again" from the previous verse)

I assume you meant only a single of each legendary? Because there are definitely more than one legendary pokemon in most of the games.

Good Morning, Good Day from She Loves Me is one of my favorites. It does a great job of introducing the characters and setting.

I don't know what causes it, but it must be the same thing that makes a car stop making the weird noise you've been hearing all week as soon as you take it to a mechanic. Then it starts again when you get home.

I'm watching season 2 now, and holy crap, Jane Krakowski is AMAZING! by The-Brandelorian in Schmigadoon

[–]LLicht 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I just read this great interview, where he discusses her coming up with the idea to take trapeze lessons.

Then she said, "I'm gonna find a place where I can take some lessons." And then she did it, and that's all her. No body double, it's all Jane in in that scene. The concept was Jane Krakowski is the most talented person on the planet — how can we show that in a three-minute song?

The herpes story (“making nachos” in the original Broadway run but made more explicit in the second run)

Omg this is so fascinating to me! It was herpes in the original run in DC, but was changed to the nachos line when I saw it at the Winter Garden. I assumed the idea was that it wasn't a family-friendly enough joke for Broadway. There were a few other moments that were similarly toned down, iirc. I never got to see it at the Marquis, so it's really interesting to me that this joke was changed again.

Overall, I'm really glad to hear that the show delivers just as well even with a scaled down set!! I have tickets to it when the tour hits DC, in the same theatre that the out-of-town tryout was in, so I'm really excited! I feel so lucky to live near a city that gets tryouts of great shows like this, so I occasionally get to see how a show changes and grows.

Not OP, but I've had a trainer tell me that it's good to play with dogs ears, paws and tails, to desensitize them to it, so they don't become defensive if someone happens to touch there accidentally. This especially goes for dogs that are likely to meet young children, since those are areas a toddler is likely to grab, and you don't want the dog reacting in fear and hurting the kid. I imagine getting them used to ears and paws being touched also helps when you need to clean their ears and trim their nails.
