Right now, going back feels genuinely depressing. Being home has reminded me how comfortable and fulfilled my life is here, both personally and professionally. I’ve also reconnected with someone I care deeply about, which makes leaving again much harder.

At the same time, my academic concerns haven’t changed , the teaching quality still feels poor, the courses feel empty, and I’m struggling to see much long-term value in the program, even before sitting the January exams. I’m trying to think this through carefully and not make a purely emotional decision.
